which i think the best option of the liu two stars is. ryoshu. so.
but definitely get cinq east don.
CinqDon and Philclair are also good options
you can swap out Liu ishmael for Philipclair
MB and philipclair are extremely required
i think u need to have mb outis + mb ego for a good burn team, philipclair is also really nice cuz insane amounts of damage + burn + synergy with liu yi sang
Don't mind the Poise on her, the crits would just be a bonus given that this is a Burn Team.
Her Burn Count application is non-existent, despite having one on her S1 [On Crit] Conditional. S2's Defense Down application is nice, 1:6 ratio. She's all about being faster than everyone, all her Skill's conditionals depend on her being faster.
The other 3 00 Lius are cheap and still can do the thing. They;re just a bit... plain.
BULLET
OUTIS
Because of their respective sin affinities, you will /only/ get Gloom resources from either of Sinclair's two IDs and Gregor's seldom-used clashable counter. (It's a strong counter with great clash power but it's much less damage than his base skills) Gloom is indispensable for fueling Fluid Sac, Sunshower, Blind Obsession, Rime Shank, Bygone Days and Solemn Lament. As such, I recommend a Sinclair ID, and I generally believe Dawn Office to be the stronger ID.
Cinq Don and Liu Ryoshu are in a similar boat as the team's only source of gluttony resources. While gluttony isn't nearly as important as gloom given the egos currently available, it's nice to have access to the many egos locked behind it like Yi Sang's 4th match flame, Dimension Shredder and Sunshower, or Don's Yearning-Mircalla. As such, I recommend Don for the team. Ryoshu, unfortunately, is probably the weakest unit out of the ten above, but at least she can clash unlike the three bad Liu 00 IDs.
As for powerful units, the one I recommend above all is Magic Bullet Outis aka Der Shootis. I feel she's very underrated, and I say that despite the praise she's getting in this thread. Whether you have the magic bullet ego or not, dark flame is incredibly powerful on burn teams. It's hard to appreciate the damage she offers since her base kit doesn't do that much (it clashes very well but her entire kit totals 5 coins) and her damage is tied to the status effect, but you can more or less just imagine all her skills doing +99 damage since burn is so easy to stack, and if she stacks up magic bullets (or you just use the ego) she can easily pump out wacky damage with dark flame.
Liu Yi Sang is one of the strongest units ever made, just because of his sanity passive. The only other unit you can stick on a team to generate sanity out of nothing is La Manchaland Gregor, and unlike Gregor, Liu Yi Sang actually does pretty great damage on a burn team. While I believe ego spam is the future of team building, we aren't there yet, and he's not absolutely mission critical to have. Still, he's very good across the board. He has a very similar kit to Liu Rodion's, resulting in similar damage. and synergizes extremely well with Dawn Office Sinclair. Given that Sinclair is pretty much irreplaceable given the long list of egos that rely on gloom resources, Liu Yi Sang's spot on the team is likely going to remain cemented for quite a while.
And while we're talking about strong units, how could I not bring up Firefist Gregor? The damage modifiers on his skills stack to wacky amounts, and his ammo mechanic is extremely lenient given his 16-rolling clashable counter that fully reloads it, and given that most of his conditionals are based on whether any amount of ammo is consumed, rather than if he actually had the full amount the skill tries to consume. All that plus three wrath skills to boost the amount of wrath resonance your team is pulling off. The only downside is that Gregor doesn't have a wrath ego.
That leaves the question on who is the best in the 6th slot, and right away I believe we can eliminate Ishmael. While Capote and Blind Obsession are nice, content is generally not hard enough that SP healing is mission critical, and while there's nothing wrong with her kit inherently, the competition is fierce with Rodion having a similar kit with simply more damage.
That leaves the question of whether to use LCE Faust or Liu Rodion, and, while they both have their merits, I believe the best option is Rodion.
Thanks to Bygone Days Gregor, the team has an SP healing EGO if it's absolutely needed, but for the most part it shouldn't be given Yi Sang's presence. Fluid Sac is always a valid reason to opt for Faust, and LCE Faust isn't a bad unit by any means, but in most content I find that I struggle to justify her existence on the team.
While everyone can approach railway their own way, I personally find that Faust takes too long to get going in railway, at least in a vacuum. This can partially be blamed on the bleed meta, and while I do think Faust is optimal for this railway, it's mainly because she can rapidly apply burn using pride skills to trigger Nebulizer while Der Shootis abuses the boss that is weak to pierce and pride with the ego that is pierce and pride and does huge flat damage based on burn.
In Mirror Dungeons, she is powerful but uniquely useless. Convenience is king in mirror dungeon grinding, and the thing about Faust is that she takes too long to explode. This is maybe an ironic problem to have since most find that to be the biggest problem with using her, but mirror dungeon simply goes by too fast with most encounters ending in 1-2 turns, rarely 3, and when Faust can't stack up her self-burn, she's struggling to compete with Rodion in damage. Now, against bosses or long wave battles, or after gradual wearing down assuming you don't pick up healing egos that are too effective, Faust can explode, and when she does, her damage is great, and Rodion would sub in which means no great loss of tempo. She even revives on the next floor, and can do it all over again, except... when this happens, you are forced to reshuffle team order, and as previously mentioned convenience is king. If you grind mirror dungeon a lot, every little inconvenience adds up, and reordering your team for Faust is not really something worth putting up with if you're just trying to efficiently clear it.
Ergo, I believe the optimal mirror dungeon burn team is Dawn Sinclair / Der Shootis / Cinq Don / Liu Yi Sang / Firefist Gregor / Liu Rodion, with LCE Faust, Liu Ishmael and Liu Ryoshu as backup that, honestly, might see use because Dawn Sinclair, as powerful as he is, has a tendency to randomly flip tails and die.
If you have access to walpurgis:
For MD you want Philipclair. He can replace Liu Ish.
For everything else you want Magic Bullet Outis. The ego helps but it's expensive to plan around an ID and EGO when sharding the Fullstop is also a top priority.
That's basically it. MD team doesn't care about outis and mostly wants sinc so he spams AoE and everything dies from glimpse.
Most 000 burn IDs are on a similar level. Liu YI sang is slightly more important than the others because of the SP support and Dawnclair is kinda important, because it's your only source of gloom in this team (besides gregor's situational counter), but you can run any other 4 between Liu Ish, Liu Rodion, Cinq east don, LC EGO Faust, Magic Bullet Outis, and Firefist gregor.
People tend to cut Liu Ish, but the difference between Liu Ish and Liu Rodion isn't that big to begin with. (Yeah, Rodion has the new Waw burn EGO, but Ishmael has Ardor blossom which is still one of the most powerful He E.G.O in the game) and Blind obsession. The strat is usualy to blow up LCE Faust and switch in one of the other good Burn ID you benched (usualy Liu Ish or Liu Rodion).
I'd run LCE Faust, Cinq East Don, Liu Sang, Firefist Gregor, DawnClair, and Liu Ish, with Liu Rodion as a 7 for when you blow up Faust.
I don't have much experience with Cinq east don, so I'm not really sure how much better she's compared to Liu Ish and Liu Rodion, but most people seems to agree she isn't the one you should cut. So in content where you want to run Magic bullet Outis, you probably should cut Liu Ishmael (or Liu Rodion if you listened to other people and kept her instead of liu ish).
