New Rodion Id In Depth Discussion

okay so its not fourth match flame, its not ardor blossom moth, its not brazen bull, it has some sort of "dress" and a bouqet of flowers in a metal holder with a big hand holding it behind her, there's some ducks that probably symbolize something, maybe its one of the ego gifts? fiery down? maybe it ties with some story?

Seasonal ego this late into the season is very annoying. It signals that next season is 4+ weeks off. It can't be 2 weeks, since if that were the case, there would only be a 1 week window where you could shard this.

Also we've gotten like twice as much seasonal stuff this season vs. previous seasons.

It doesn't even make much sense for this to be seasonal, since its probably for an abno that hasn't appeared in the story yet.

How are we supposed to talk 'in depth' about a new EGO of a new Abnormality?

There are flames in the background, so I suppose it will synergize with Burn.

Eh wouldn't be the first if it was released for a short amount of time. Greg's Garden of Thorns, also a seasonal EGO was released 2 weeks before the Ishmael's season was over.

It's probably a mix between it being a teaser for what to expect next season (Papa Bongy returns: Duck Edition) while also delaying the current season to either release Walpurgis on Walpurgis day or simply to delay Hong Lu's Canto while they're working on that.

There is a chinese tale about a Jade emperor who was envious of the people's happiness, so he sent a magic goose to burn down the world.

The lines in the new ego and the goose in the picture, on top of seemingly being Chinese themed when you brighten up rodya, all point to this most likely being the reference.

Because the next canto is Chinese themed due it being hong-lu's. It's safe to say this will be an abno we will fight next season. Just like how we got oufi heath before canto 6, and Zwei ish for canto 7 that referenced the coming season.

I hate this recent trend where some EGO are just arbitrarily seasonal for no apparent reason. Seasonal is supposed to be relevant to content that was release during the SEASON, but staring with Garden of thorns (as if I didn't already have enough reasons to hate that EGO) PM have been releasing EGO banners late into the season which have no connection to the abnormalities encountered during the seasons plot/events/railway.

Garden of Roses Gregor was a Seasonal EGO for Season 3. It also didn't have any relation to Season 3/Canto 5.

because they are a greedy corpo. my guess is that this is a twisted version of a season ego that is meant to be representative of hong lu's season but is being released BEFORE it even comes out as a prelude, but since it relates to it they still make it seasonal.
