enough said. some of the ex missions, notably 7.5-7, are the worst ones i've ever seen. You have to defeat tree waves of peccatulum, but you can't even clear the third wave without the damned thing just guarding and wiping your sinners from the fight. and 7.5-9, you try to not take any hits at all.

Well not really. Since if you use a Attack skill it a one sided.

It only when you clash defense with defensive it will pop up "offset".

The only time you dont want to offset is when there is something you must do.

Like Canto 5 boss where to have to win the evade roll to reduce it count.

Or something like
[Combat Start] Gain X amount.
[On Clash Lose] Lose Y Amount.

Which is what 7-34 have but it a Clashable Counter so it can't really be Offset.

Clashable Defensive dont care about offset but it will trigger on the first one sided which may or may not be what you want.

It kinda already being touch but it can be more balance between risk and opportunities.

The more you offset the more stack it get the more dangerous it become.

So it pretty easy to balance it with offset existing.

1. Have the Sinner being targeted not attack the [Part].
Example:

Putting a Defensive Skill against a Guard or Evade will [Offset] it, neutralizing the Defensive Skill from being used.
Counters are special case since it activates automatically by any attack that goes through. Unopposed Attacks are included. They can [Offset] though, if you used it on their Evade/Guard. The otherway around doesn't.
3. If there's other [Part]s, have the Sinner being targeted by that Guard/Evade attack a different [Part]. Have no one attack the Defense Skill afterwards, otherwise it will activate on that Sinner and negates the purpose of switching [Part]s.

Completed the ex for 7.5-7 just now. Just needed to borrow one of my friend’s multitrack Faust with everlasting and level up dead rabbits boss (which I hated to see)

Still gonna hate this challenge tho lol

There's currently only 1 enemy that Always Activates its defense slot on the first attack(Giving it protection), Regardless of redirecting, and that is the Town Robot thing,

If the Defense Skill has a [Combat Start] description, offsetting it would be useless anyway since it's not activated by trigerring the Defense Skill.

Drifting Fox is the guiltiest of them all with that Defense Skill. It even has on both Body and Head. The only way to stop it is to Stagger or Destroy both Parts on Turn 2 so it won't use any skills at Turn 3. If only one part is staggered, the other one will use it and BAM! Everyone loses 20 SP.

Everyone struggled a bit against that stage.

50% damage reduction innate-Passive with a triggerable Protection buff (that's another 10% damage reduction) that stacks (it's 3 per Defense Skill and it can use two at the same turn).
Add that it's also Resistant to all Damage types and only weak/fatal to Sin Affinities your Deployable Sinners have in scarcity and you're facing a big-ass wall.
