It's 'around the corner'. All the content they promised before next season was already delivered. We should be weeks away, unless there are delays.

They're too scared to give people an actual time limit these days. The last few passes have never had a set time limit to them, God forbid they have to stick to scedule, God forbid they have to keep their word, God forbid they WON'T screw up and delay things. Cowards. Plain greedy cowards.

Your best estimate is to use the latest event duration + 1-week as a total timer on how long your pass will last. Once the event ends, there's a 1-week grace period to buy rewards with the obtained currency. Once that ends, we'll likely see the season switch occur, or failing that, at worst 1-2 weeks more after that. That's my guess anyway.

Edit: And as a general rule, passes/seasons tend to last 3-4 months, give or take, mostly 4+ months though, due to well-known "PM Delays".

season 4 lasted for 7 months and this season has been going for 5 months now. for all we know they could be pushing walpurgis and making us wait two whole more months until next season

Hm... 5-7 months huh...? Doesn't feel like it, but if it really is that long now...

Well, worst case scenario, they take 6 months on average now, yay, more bang for your buck when you buy the pass early. 6 months of EX boxes! No wonder the stockpile is getting rather high, heh.

Hard to say if they'll squeeze in Walpurgis before the season swap, though. Well, if they do, one can expect it to be the last event of the season. Feels like they did this before though - ending a season with Walpurgis, so the odds seem high.

There's not really a specific set date for when the season itself will end, but we can confirm that the last intervallo will end around 17th April, so we have at least that, plus if they decide to release Walpurgis (assuming we're getting one) during or after the intervallo, and roughly a few weeks extra inbetween current and new season.

You will see the date when they announce new season. I think it is going to stay till 3rd Thursday of april, at least. Maybe even longer, considering that PM had season delays multiple times already.

the current event will take 19 days to finish, and we already know that the next act is about Hong Lu, the last Walpurgis was in 2 (almost 3 months) I would say 1 or 2 months for the new season

A lot of stuff can happen that can cause changes, delays or even cause parts of the game feel rushed like how it was for bits in Don's Canto, whenever it is story related, voice, gameplay, bugs, stuff affecting them IRL and so on. I mean even the roadmap changed slightly this season by swapping railway with a rerun, and some things they mentioned they were working on like renting for MD got delayed, and even then they don't usually bring up a second Walpurgis or other events like anniversary event with the roadmap.
