Envy team question
What do you guys recommend for two final slots for a complete envy-based squad? The 3 Middle IDs and Pequod Heath are a no-brainer, but I'm a bit torn about who to add besides those. I was thinking N Faust (mostly cause of Hex Nail), Dieci Rodion (since you can basically cycle skill 2 with discard easily), or Pequod Yi sang, or just 3 Pequod and 3 Middle, although I'm a bit skeptical about Pequod Ish.

Dieci Rodion is better if you want Envy and less care about bleed.

MultiCrack Faust
Chef Ryōshū
R Corp. Meursault

Back in the day, when Middle Don was new, I had three variants in mind.

1) Consistent Envy Resonance - prioritize units with Defensive Envy skills to ensure you can always activate Don. Biggest downside was that you would have to pick fairly mediocre units like Shi Ishmael or L Remnant Faust. Nowadays, you could consider running Multicrack Faust and Heathcliff instead.

2) Pequod/Middle hybrid - big reason here is getting full power from Heathcliff. Main downside is inconsistent envy generation. There is also not enough Poise support for Yi Sang, Ishmael's skill 1 is ok? Granting defense up and protection to allies does mesh with a 'counter' team. It's just that, a counter team is not that good of an idea to begin with.

3) Bleed - both the old Middle IDs and Pequod Heathcliff have Bleed synergy, so just fill the rest of the slots with good Bleed units with Envy Skills. More modern options would include Red Eyes Ryoshu, Kurokumo Ishmael or Princess Rodion.

Just to be clear, I dropped all those builds later on in favor of better teams.
Can Sinclair salvage this idea? Only time will tell.

i have an envy/wrath/pride resonance team
Peaquod and Middle + hook hong lu
If i want pure blunt is middle + Charge faust + Spider ryoshu + LCCb Rodya
Didnt have a 6th member but now with Middle sinclair i may have
Red eyes and Penitence Ryoshu (Envy s1, probably the best s1 ingame)
Pequod ish isnt good in a "envy" team , she wont be at her fullest
Pequod yi sang needs poise so he works better in Pride teams
Nfaust would be a good choice if her envy skills didnt roll..
i do recommend Multicrack faust and if you dont have that, Dieci rodion due to hex nail and or dulcinearodya if you wanna go crazy with festive fever

Yall are neglecting the queen of resonance squads: Ahabmael.

She operates best in pride teams, but even outside of that, being able to CONSISTENTLY get off multiple one sided attacks per round is nuts. And she has an envy S1

More like queen of easily corroded for kill steals. All her S1 does is defensive stuff which people don't care that much about and like you said she's best for pride teams, which middle meur doesn't have and we don't know about Sinclair's affinity kit besides purple theme.

Grip Faust on the other hand also has purple s1s as well, makes everyone and not just one enemy deal +20% damage if they're use blunt/pierce attacks, inflict paralyze with that same skill and keeps the bleed going with nails. Oh, and, y'know, if it was for a lust team she'd basically be the opposite version of Ahab where she gives everyone free SP, but even without it she has the advantage of just not losing SP if you're on a killing spree with other characters.

Her clashes suck most of the time.

Odd. I haven't had that problem with her. Her rolls aren't like fantastic, but certainly decent.
