there was an QnA where they said they wanted to make a short anime. i havent seen anything official so its going to be a long way until they are working on an anime. also never saw the QnA itself

It's not necessarily an immediate short term thing. Remember quality anime can cost up to a million dollars an episode. Then to recoop costs they need to put it somewhere where they'll get income per view and hope enough people watch it. Given current streaming habits, they'll want about 13 episodes ready to go from the start. So assuming animation techniques and technology have advanced sufficiently to drop the price by 50% since I last heard the number, that's still 7 and half million they're likely looking at having to spend to get it done.

I highly doubt they actually paid for that collab, or if they did there was very little compensation going back and forth. Until you have proof you're just being a doomer.

kim is a big simp for the Arknight devs so he probably paid--nothing comes free. its rule of the backstreets to pay for borrowing assets, especially a sponsor. they wouldn't disclose payment amount, though. it is still possible that exposure is the payment, though, as arknights benefits completely and limbus sort of does by getting gacha fans from arknight. i think its really just kim being a fanboy for arknights as he already expressed that admiration and the reason the collab exists in the first place. don't think kim realizes hes being used though lmfao

if kim paid thats actually even worse since limbus gets so little exposure compared to arknights, i dont think arknights are even allowed to post notice that there is a collab going on in arknights (i might be wrong on that i am not very informed on how these restrictions work for regional stuff). it is really a one-sided collab but its evident kim doesn't really care and also evident that, at least for kim (probably not for the arknight devs) that this is not a collab for business but that he thinks its familiarity or some buddy thing.

as long as kim has enough funds for the future of LC i dont really care how he uses it, more sponsors etc i don't think kim is stupid, he probably easily secured this.
