not going to leave the game, but it's really anoying having to download a 9gb update every so often, but since I really like the game I don't think I'm going to leave it

Probably an issue with what ever drive you have the game on.

Clearing the cache makes it re-download EVERYTHING, probably even any shoddy patches. So it seems useless unless something broke/got corrupted and needs to be re-downloaded properly. (Kinda like steam file integrity checks.)

And of course that's aside the usual PM incompetence of putting out broken patches, then fixing them a few hours or days later. Can't do much about those (you'd just be re-downloading their broken patch), but atleast they'll patch up fast.

i am also facing that unstable network issue but when i checked my connection and stuff everything is good enough, like i can run other competitive games without any issues with my net speed and its sad coz as a new player i anm not getting to play the game i was so invested in

Man I'm curious about why you keep saying that. I felt like if you go another game it prob this typical that company.

Which I agree on this cause PM is not really good at coding stuff. Bug fix cause more bug.

Even before PM went full evil on the gacha business, their coding was... shoddy, at best. From huge memory leaks in Lobotomy, to early jank in LoR's combat system. To say nothing of their sometimes questionable game design either, that could be called "souls-like" at best if one is generous, with how unforgiving some elements are.

Though atleast the previous games weren't money grabbing schemes and beating em was satisfying (and pretty doable if you merely grinded the needed resources), along with nifty world-building. So they had that going for em.

It's just specific companies though, most make either really good, or just really average games that have nothing particularly good or bad to mention.
