By design sweepers can't have their faces revealed because as far as we know they don't have flesh.
My bet is that they will come up with some excuse to make Sweeper IDs real. Maybe something like "Sweepers that get to save some of their human features" or "Newbie Sweepers which still have some of their human features".

They can't have imposters as they speak in their own language that literally no one else than librarians can speak or even understand too. And still they can't have a face as their bodies are liquid inside the armor.
