Liu yisang is prettyy boring

Still good. Strong replaces weak. He replaces Gregor Liu Assoc.iation.

I mean the Liu we got in LOR is also burn and inflict more burn and also Emotion Coins = Sanity. So ye it basically another normal Liu from LOR. Not a side character Liu.

Reminded me of the R Meursault kit reveal meme.
He's still good no matter what though.

What's funny is that people b*tched about long kits, to complain about short kits now. :PinkContent:
I mean maybe, still incredibly good though. Having a passive similar to Nfaust is always strong, especially since Dawn Office Sinclair and to a lesser extent MB Outis need sanity support, and his skill 3 is another way to speed up burn damage. Hopefully with a less restrictive damage cap than Liu Rodion if it has one.
I don't mind it at all. I enjoy playing video games optimally and having 6 complex units in your team would make finding the best move more annoying.

i never complained about long kits, long kits are objectively better because they create more scenarios and playstyles

about time
greg is a bro but that id is absolutely obsolete
as long it replace liu gregor / liu hong lu / liu mersault.

it's good we take it. than never.
You don't need to write up a short novel worth of mechanics to have a good ID which is satisfying to play with.

We got a streak of fairly complex IDs, so a simple ID every now and then is good.

For me it feels like the opposite, more text the ID has the more simple they are since PM is more focus on making them nukes then bringing new play-styles in their archetype.

These Id Manger Don, WH Heathcliff, Solemn Yi sang, and Dawnclair all have very long text but ultimately their long text can be summarized as;

Manager Don: Essentially a charge id that use bleed damage to build charge and pop off with s3-1. Does have the enhance skills based on the type of blood-fiend you bring but only 1/3 of the skills you actually want to use.

WH Heath: Use counter, get on horse, use s3, build coffin, repeat. Get kills to get coffin faster for more Unga Bunga damage

Solemn Yisang: Don't even need to read the essay long status effect. All you need to know is it deals damage base on sinking and you barely get enough the living then the dead after a reload. Also clash for sinking count.

Dawnclair: go from baby mode to hydrogen baby mode at 45 sp. After that, then sp management.

These IDs don't really change much other than making themselves permanent core of whatever archetype they in by pure damage. They really don't really change how the archetype is played. Maybe a minor exception to Solemn Yisang and Dawnclair. But Solemn bring a status that deal damage on bosses with sp consistently while then in burst like deluge. Dawn was sort of interesting before he got buffed to where it take at least 4 turns for him to start having sp troubles.

While I'm more interested on IDs like Devyat Sinclair, LCE Yisang and Faust, Bl Muersalt, KK Ishmael and Heath, the kill your allies egos and tremor conversion IDs and ego. I feel like these IDs and egos have a much greater effect in terms of play-styles while still having less text then the example above.
A bit of "Generic" IDs aint so bad, expecially if its to flesh out some status team,

Or you know, Having litteral "Generic" with next to no "Outstanding" quality,
I won't lie, with Faust getting a burn ID this Leu is a freaking miracle. Not only is his bench passive just an upgraded version of Yi-sang's base passive (it'll probably res instead) but his active effects are great for the team. I just don't know who I'd replace on the burn team besides MB Outis in terms of sin affinities, since currently my only source of gluttony is Ryoshu.

I feel like your simplified view of how these IDs work is more of symptom of how you play. I can tell you every ID with long text chains you listed have around 3 strategies you can employ due to have complex some of their interactions. With Dawnclare it's more like strategies to get to 45 sanity and stay there, but that's just because once he's in super mode even thinking about his actions has minimal impact on their effect. The rest of them generally give you options to deal with problems or simply have elements of their character that change how you approach the battle.

Though I will say you're just wrong about Manager Don. All of her enhanced skills are worth using. She gain's hardened blood fast enough that it really isn't an issue and her interactions with Rodion make the reduced clash power on her S2-2 moot. It only ever gets 1 base power reduced from it at max conditionals anyway and can gain up to +4 base power from rodion in any reasonable set up because she auto targets don with her S2 +2 base power. Hell I even found her counter to just what I needed to keep some other members of the team alive after some bad luck.
