Best bleed count for bloodfiend team? (not including e.g.o. gifts)
(no i dont have manager id so i cant test this til next week)
i was thinking of running ring outis til i saw that extra coin added to manager id s2 from running barber, but then i got to thinking of using pequod heathcliff for his s2 bleed count, and either ring sang or ahabmael depending how much i want to abuse ring sang damage

I mean you can team build how you want, but that S2-2 isn't nearly as bad as people make it out to be. In any case if you want bleed off that team there are a million ways to get it. Some of which including ego they can easily fuel. Otherwise it needs a source of gloom so Rhino Mersault and Ring yi sang can easily cover some of your needs. I'd actually suggest double slotting Don because you'll want access to a second skill for her, so that leaves one team mate open in focused encounters.

Don't run Don with bloodfiend Outis. Consuming 20 hardblood for S2 is terrible. The regular S2 is pretty fine.

Ring Outis is good.

Sancho gains hardblood much faster with bloodfiend outis on the team and S2-2 is much stronger (2 nat atk weight and can get another 2 from hardblood) and you don't need 30 blood charge like other bloodfiends, Sancho only needs 15

Original S2 is a 3-slot 4+6+6 skill at 20+ hardblood without any cost. While the altered one is a 4-slot 4+3+3+3 spending 20 hardblood at once. It's only significantly better when the main target has 12+ bleed for extra coin power, which is pretty unreliable.

If you bring all three bleedfiend companions, every act at 15+ hardblood consumes hardblood. Technically every S2&S3 will leave you a turn less than 15 hardblood, and S1 also spends 10 hardblood so it's hard to stack hardblood. It becomes more significant if you run Don with two slots, while S2 in the second slot often lack the necessary 20 hardblood. Without Outis it's easy to maintain hardblood at a higher level, which benefits you with extra offense and defense level and you may release S3 any time you like.

And hardblood gain from passive is capped at 3 times per turn so exceed bloodfiend won't make a big difference.

How about instead you make sure Don gets a second skill slot, and you strategically avoid using the S2 on your first slot because her S1s and clashable counter are just fine. Not to mention the team fuels several of don's egos quite easily. Yes I know the counter cuts your hardblood in half, but it would require you to be at 24 hard blood not to see a net gain from pairing that with a S1-1.

With that set up you have access to the enhanced damage you can get from that advanced S2, Outis's S3, and the increased hardblood generation.

i still dont really get the hardblood thing, in short sancho + 2 other bloodfiends is ideal?

I would point out that the original S2 is a powerful aoe skill and much better than enhanced S1 or counter. It even costs no hardblood so you can easily reach maximum hardblood and earn sweet +6 off level.

Why should I bring Barber Outis if she prevents me from using S2?

After all she is a medium id providing few bleed count, and especially so when there are two higher kindred consuming all bloodfeast.

You guys make an interesting case for cutting Barber Outis out of the team. She already had my ire for being the only one without a Lust Defensive skill.
If you replace her with say... RE&P Ryoshu, you don't fix the blood count, but at least you can 6x resonate your WAW EGO on demand. And Serious Skullbuster is good damage anyway.

I was planning on cutting N Faust after Don is out, but this comp might flow better.

honestly i wouldnt want nfaust in my team either way, not because she's bad (id run her as support passive instead) but because paralyze is extremely annoying with how the game automatically assumes every single skill is affected fully by paralyze meaning i need to read all the enemy skill powers and stuff

I enjoy the 15 sanity for two people a lot, and you can get more copies of "The Gripping" for 45 coins to make her more viable.
