Weekly Delay was a Success

Limbus Company just managed to hit Top 10 BestSelling once again.

Normally this wouldn't mean anything...

Except this is off of a Single Banner...

Not a BP, not a Season Launch, not a Walpurgis...

A Single Banner. Granted this banner is for the Capstone ID of this season, but even that wouldn't be enough to secure a ♥♥♥♥ ton of money for PM just like that. WH Heathcliff's release didn't make as much money compared to this banner for instance.

Not to mention both Servers on Discord and the Subreddit have clearly shown a drive to pulling on the banner with some even outright going for Pity.

Much as some of you won't be happy with this, this delay ended up being financially successful for PM in this situation.

It's almost like gatekeeping the free method to get most anticipated ID of the season, which is also the second strongest ID in the entire game, results in people spending their money for pulls.

Game routinely has 5 digits worth of players on steam --- the steam forum has 1 dozen, *maybe* 2 dozens of frequent posters. Regardless of the word count being dumped on here, it doesn't affect how the majority decide to enjoy the game :/

Forum is a forum for reason. People can talking about what they think no?
Well even it doesn't need to make a big change to the game. Sometime people just want a place to shared something with each other even it good or bad or nothing-burger.

And even there are many player out there who doesn't use this forum for talking, if they have a thing to talk, they will just use the platform they more comfortable with to talk about this game anyway. It's just that we don't see them.

I mean if this help LCB become Top 10 Best-selling every time "seasonal banners" drop similar to those big gacha game on mobile in a long run then good for them but if it not then it just an effect from hype do a hype things.

And the sell will also spike one more in upcoming Walpurgis banners because Walpuris is Walpurgis.
So, IMO if you want to confirm that this "1-week delay" thing really work.
You should wait for the sale of banners after Walpurgis like Regular Check-Up Event instead.
(Christmas and BL event sale will drop because they are re-run so I will not count them.)

This also strangely reminds me of the Stanford marshmallow experiment - child is offered a choice between having 1 marshmallow now or 2 if they wait 15 mins. 67% failed to wait, and even those who didn't struggled.

Now replace child with PM fan, marshmallow with extremely hype limited ID, and 15 mins with 1 week. What do you think will happen.

It's kinda absurd that a week delay wouldn't automatically sell more for a hyped unit regardless. It should be obvious that this week delay just makes people buy more currency. Though, It doesn't change much for long time players since most of us already have a fat lunacy stash thanks to seasonal passes. I won't be rolling for every seasonal id from day 1 but if anything close to maid ryoshu or dulcinae comes, I'm rollin.
