RE+P Ryoshu is more of a bleed and team healing ID, since she deals more bleed with Red Eyes and gains shield+sanity with Penitence. IMO it feels like she wants to hold onto her unique charge to deal out bleed rather than spend it, while W Ryoshu has to spend at least some in order to get her S3 running high.
If RE+P ever spends unique charge, it's really more for team support, not damage
Also, a lot of charge IDs are self-sufficient, so they don't actually need to be in a full team, though some supports can help a bit
She will benefit on a charge team as they can help her gain unique charge faster but no one will care about her bleed effect.
Put her in Blunt team since that is first & only ID which has proper Blunt skill.
No. She's not good for it. Yes. She's still the best.
As an extesion of this, 90% of the time a charge ID with some other keyword (as long as it's actually a significant part of their kit and not the irrelevant Rupture on Rip Space) will fit into that other keyword better than they do Charge teams, like W Yi Sang and Rhino Meursalt. This also applies to self-Tremor because that's just Charge in a silly mask.
This was an overly complicated way to say that RE&P Ryoshu is a Bleed ID and her charge synergy is only going to be relevant for a handful of MD Gifts.
Wrong.
Her first passive converts normal charge count into Red Eyse / Penitence, and a lot of gifts got reworded to include unique charge. So she does benefit from EGO gifts just fine.
Nah she can do both, you can user it as her finisher since if you put her on bleed team
Serious Skullbuster can took forever to charge, you can use it as her second S3
Second S3 it you likely wont have it ready with her first S3, so first time around just her Normal Skullbuster and no need to hold into it. However once you got all of her condition ready, in dmg: Serious Skullbuster > DDEDR + 6 Load.
So it is worth it to sacrificing her bleed application when she need to because after all, with ring ids now bleed can turn into unga bunga team when if they want to.
Any other strategies or teamcomps you know that can help her build up damage/charge? And if I decide to pop open the powertrip that is MD, should I increase Bleed gift spawnrate or Charge gift spawnrate?
Not much rly, she want charge so if you running bleed team, running Middle Don with Telepole can help, Middle Don can also help Ring as she have secondary status effect, so there are some team sinergy there
For dmg, just run her with N Faust, though that is already kinda mandatory if you running Bleed with Rings id.
Apart from that if she running in charge team, she basically W Ryo but Blunt and take more time to build up charge.
For MD? just a bloody mist you way though
That one is better than any buff charge gift can ever give to her, though if running into Employee Cards, Portable Battery Sockets, Lightning Rods, etc. they kinda help
But only slighly because your running bloody mist = 99% ♥♥♥♥ on MD wont last more than 2 turn, vast majority wont even last for 1 turn and she has high charge req for her skill, so at most she will proc her S1 and do slighly more dmg with her other skill thx to her passive before everything else dies to bloody mist.
Recently hit Don Telepole with the good ol threadspin, gonna try that out when I can
Don't have Middle Don, but I'll see if N Corp Don will work out
But on the other side Red Eyes Ryoushu is just generally powerful. I can't think of a single team she would do bad on.
