Bleed need more HElpful egos

I have notice that bleed team doesn't have any egos that are similar to Capote to burn or AEDD to rapture where it either enhance the status or jump start the status.

These ego help with downtime when your Ids don't have a skills that keep up count or you just want to start a fight with a head start.

Nearly every main status team has a least one ego that is either cheap or easy to fill in 2-3 turns that you can almost spam.

Charge: Telepole don
Sinking: Bygone days Yi sang, and Rime Shank
Rupture: AEDD, Dimension shredder Yi sang and Hong lu
Poise: Blind obsession Ishmael
Tremor: Cavernous Wailing, and Effervescent Corrosion Rodya
Burn: Capote Muersalt, and Ardor Blossom

Bleed has Wishing Carin don and Sanguine Desire Rodya but the problem with those is that Sanguine is expensive, Wishing Cairn requires sloth for whatever reason, and both are on sinners that don't have good bleed ids( if you don't count nails then Don doesn't have a bleed id).

I hope next canto we get some Bleed egos that are similar to other teams. Perhaps an ego that gives the gossypium status, gives alot of nails, or even a passive similar to the respite gift so bleed has an useful ego to use.

I dunno if I just don't care about the meta machine but isn't the Middle Little Sister Don a good Bleed ID? I know that Sister Don does not have the necessary affinity for Wishing Cairn but yeah getting the appropriate affinities is a team effort.

You're forgetting contempt, awe ryoshu. That's also a bleed EGO, but the simple fact is that we need a bleed EGO that gives like +7 bleed count. Would be comical if it was also a HE EGO on Rodion just to cement her as the status effect count sinner

I honestly forgot about Middle Don having bleed tbh, been using her mostly for envy teams. Wishing Carin would be amazing for bleed if her boss canto Id has sloth s1 so that you can spam the thing. Pummel the enemy with stone.

I didn't mention contempt awe because it cost 14 ego resources and 4 different affinity for so it not spammable and the corrosion 21 sin resources just for +5 count so that definitely not spammable. So I didn't mention the ego since it doesn't fit the criteria that the other egos I mention.

A HE bleed ego where it just gives 5 pot and 5 count would be good enough. Maybe also a unique bleed status that gives count on hit similar to AEDD would also work.

I don't think PM is oblivious to the fact that Bleed is practically unplayable as a status outside of MD, and with the new lore we got on Don from the last intervallo, I would say there's a good chance were going to get some new bleed goodies in Season 5.

Personally, I'm hoping that Burn gets some more love and attention, as they are in desperate need for some more variety (power-creep), the old Liu ID's are just garbage (except for Ish).

I'm assuming anything Liu based pre Ish are the old guys and while they are bad; Uptie has helped them stand up a better with Greg probably being the big winner. Not like meta breaking but they're in a better spot now(though when they started they were on the floor so...)

That said I'm guessing we're not gonna get a Burn change till like later? Maybe during Ryoshu's canto/season.

Don's having the Bleed rework does make a bit of sense.

Honestly I'm still surprised bleed's going to be this chapter's theme, considering the chapter before Heathcliff had plenty of bleed.

If this season is anything to go by, we're probably getting a lot of bleed and a mix of burn and rupture next season

That's a nice summation of the exact role Sanguine Desire fills. It's effect is just flat out better than a +X Bleed Count because it's always enough count, no exceptions. The main issue it has is that Rodya has no good Bleed IDs, but her Liu ID fits perfectly in the Burn meta since it helps set up the Ring duo, who are both core to Bleed at present (especially Outis, her S2 is the best consistent Bleed Count engine in the game.)
Bleed Count is also not really a huge issue, Hook Lu has up to 4 Count on his S2, Ring Outis deals out 5 at a time, and Rodya can just turn off its Decay if skill rotation issues come up, leaving Bleed with a definite role as a Status effect for melting through bosses, which is more than can be said for Burn "the one that's just there to fuel conditionals."

What team have you been using that make bleed status op.

I have tried with cap ishmael, Queecliff, the two ring ids, Hook Lu and RE Ryoshu and sometimes switching cap Ishmael with N Faust. Usually the only time I am able to build up a high bleed count is either when the enemy is staggered, in the phase of the fight where it using 1-2 coin attacks or don't a boss that don't have alot of coin slots like such as Erlklng.

I don't fell comfortable using KK Rodya for saguine desire mainly because it KK Rodya and its a bad id.

Most of this has been done in rr4 and the first boss does use a lot of coins and attacks so I may be a bit confirmation bias.

From what I understand it isn't that bleed as a status is op but the ids that make up it are. Considering it has one of the strongest Ids in the game( Ring sang), with the strongest supports id (Cap ish), the strongest bruiser tank(Queecliff), two amazing 00 ids (ring otis and hook lu) and now whatever you call RE Ryoshu(tank,brawler,support id?).

Also if the reason you consider it op because of MD I won't because its MD and everything op in that mode.

That's easy, just don't.
the Ring IDs want three Status efects consistently, Bleed is there by default, Nfaust brings Nails so you need a third. Burn is a sticky status so Liu Rodya solves that while also being a good ID, and fitting the Sins of the team.

This comment really shows how bad Rodya has it with bleed ids when her best id that synergies with her bleed ego is a burn id. God, I hope PM cook something good with Rodya next canto, because how can she have 3 bleed ids and none of them work.

To supplement this, I've been using Rosespanner Rodion in my bleed team for similar reasons. She clashes well, generates Tremor for Ring Outis (I don't have Ring Yi), generates a ton of Pride resource, and staggers really well which is sometimes very useful.

That said, I do kinda wish she had an elite ID that was on theme with Sanguine Desire (even if it had a unique bleed) but could clash/brawl a little better. Especially because with R. Mersault the team already has a solid tank.
