Redeyes Ryoshu is worrying

What i want to talk about is the reference to red mist. This is supposed to be her in phase 1 in Lobotomy Corp, and some cool fan service. But then something struck that worried me.

ID's have been made from the more interesting and cool weapons from Lobotomy corporation so far. Even lantern, which was a basic copy / paste mace-like re-skin weapon, was made interesting by utilizing the mouths on it. Red eyes was made interesting with the duel wield + reference, but not because the weapons she wielded in particularly stood out.

We got phase 1 red mist in Lob Corp, does this mean that we might get phase 2 and phase 3 references in the future as well?

She Duel wields a lot of cool weapons that can all potentially be their own unique future ID. while the idea of duel wielding mimicry and Da Capo sounds pretty cool. I'd personally very much prefer for Silent Orchestra and Nothing There to have stand alone Equipment ID's over having them merged. Even in the circumstance where we could only have one of these two as an ID, i'd still much prefer it to be one as a stand alone.

I don't know if i'm alone in this or if anyone else would agree that we don't need a phase 2/3 red mist reference. If we do, and eventually get red mist herself, that is 4 ID's all going towards the same referenced character, and I personally think that it would be to much and take away from having other potential ID's.

Phase 2 weapons were Mimicry and Da Capo, and phase 3 weapons were Smile and Justita. All of these weapons were ALEPH-grade in Lobotomy Corporation, so it's going to be a long while before we even get close to there (the closest we're at now is WAW-grade weapons with a drawback).

No.

They're Risk Level ALEPH. Dual wield them is too much.

We will probably get Mimicry and Da Capo as standalone aleph ego for Ryoshu and then on Walp night them as dual weapons. The same as we got Red eyes as ego for her and then as dual weapon. (Probably only getting mimicry both as ego and in id, Silent orchestral is not that popular and will be wielded as dual weapon)

Are you saying this because duel wielding them is too much for an individual to do so?

Or because it would be too much to stack into one ID?

Because as far as i know, as long as it has been done, nothing is too much for PM.

The lore basically invalidates that it can't happen simply because "it's too much". You have to be more specific buddy.

They're Risk Level ALEPH. Don't think it's easy to dual wield them.

Each of them is already strong. Using each is enough. Using both is too strong.

Gotta remember that lore-wise, Gebura was having a 'meltdown' when she dual wielded and used up to what, 9 E.G.O. weapons total? it isn't impossible that someone can use two ALEPH weapons while staying stable, but for our sinners? That's a lot of cantos away.

It's a lot of cantos away definitely, but i still hope in the future they are just stand alone ID's. Even if it's unlikely that they will be duel wielded.

Probably separate. Da Capo and Mimicry are just too hype to lose on one additional ID by combining them into one. They probably wanted Spider Ryo for some reason, and then decided "Yo what if we give her Penance aswell, that would be cool", and did that.

It would make Gebura less special. I think that's what he's worried about, but I also think he's worked up over nothing, because I've seen no reason to believe they'd do one of their most popular characters dirty like that.

It's part of it. I simply don't want to see da capo / justitia / mimicry / smile, all lumped up together as duel wield weapons.

I don't believe they will go down this route, like, i am almost positive it won't. But a sense of dread is still looms over me that this is a possibility and wondered if other players would also be as discontent as me, if such an event were to occur.

Discontent to be taken lightly, as, while it's not my cup of tea and it'd bum me out, I'd accept it in the end. after all, we have a lot of other cool ID's in the game already.
