Bamboo Hatted Kim story dungeon help

I was running a full sinking team and as such could not have beaten him with them. I have been going at Kim for the entire day to no avail.
I do not have any EGOs which could beat TCTB.
I have:
Multicrack Faust UT4
K Corp Hong Lu UT3
W Corp Don UT4
Multicrack Heathcliff UT3
Liu Ryoshu UT3
Shi Ishmael UT3
and no other relevant 00s (sinclair, rodion, gregor and meursault are out of the picture in my teams)
(my sinking IDs are suncliff, wildcliff, spicesang, butler outis, butler faust).
I have tried using variations of this team (the ones listed above the sinking ids). I have gotten so far as staggering Kim, but the turn after he uses TCTB and I die. I do not do enough damage to finish him during this time.
I have tried soloing Kim with W corp Don lv45 by evading every turn, adding attacks and it did not work (someone said it worked so I must have a terrible skill issue).
Please help I have spent the entire day trying to beat this thing/level up units and have gotten effectively nowhere, I am at my wit's end.

the only way for you to beat it use sinking team is "stackup sinking to 99 potency or something and sinking deluge it using spicebush yisang" or another team that mostly focus on slash or even better "full BL team"

if you going to solo him and cheese him you really really need some "luck" and hopefully he not hit pass you evade

You could probably get away with starting to build a charge team, consider getting W Ryoshu then W Outis to help build around charge EGO gifts

Yeah, if you're rolling with Sinking, you need to be able to take full advantage of Sinking Deluge to deal with Kim.
If you can't handle To Claim Their Bones, you need to play carefully with his stagger thresholds to make sure you stagger him on the turns he uses it and then kill him off before he does anything serious after the second one. Once you hit the turn where he readies the second one, he'll naturally gain Resentment from damage.

Unless you have other team set-ups you can work on like a Charge team with your available ID's, building a team around Pride damage and avoiding Sinking and Blunt damage might help.

bamboo hat kim is negative coins. so buff him with sinking make him extremely strong with -45 sanity

you can try charge ID, w don / w ryoshu / crack faust or Uga Bunga N corp to beat the crap out of him with pure dps.

Eh, I got him with SL yisang, WH Heath, edgar gregor and Butler Outis all 40~ish full sinking team. Can't say it was easy, but definitely doable
