So who is he? Is he member of Demian's group?

He is probably based on Sansón Carrasco from the book Don Quixote, which was a scholar and friend of Don Quixote. He is probably another first kindred from what we have seen and the post credits of canto 7 all but confirm that he is part of the Demian faction.

basically he was cured by Blue faction. I GUESS?
he showed no sight of bloodlust and basically this canto his doing.

That outfit has some familiar trim. Obsessed with 'performances', wields a polearm that appears as a scythe in their initial profile in the background of the trailer, and a very familiar voice (at least I think so)

So far we have:

* Demien - Someone who is more than human, considering that he was able to overcome the color drain of District 20, he was also able to bisect Distorted Kromer with minimal effort, who appears to be able to move between districts as if he was walking through a door.
* Rim - A "stable" Distortion that can turn into a butterfly that was one of the League of Nine, one that Yi Sang once knew, last seen in the branch facility of Lobotomy Corporation on the Great Lake...after the Pallid Whale passed through it.
* Sanson - A Bloodfiend that's an unknown Kindred and an unknown family that can warp reality to tell a story, who likely provided the Golden Bough to...get the story moving forward. Demien likely has some part in him not having the bloodthirst of other Bloodfiends...either that or he's fed beforehand.


Sonya, the leader of the Yurodiviye (e.g. communists in all but name) is aware of him, in fact...he foreshadowed him appearing in Chapter 2.

Demian is supposed to represent (in addition to Demian from the book) the "little prince" from "Antoine de Saint-Exupéry", he constantly make refference to this book, and Sanson at the end of Canto7 tel that he's gonna find a star to be king... probably reffering the "king" from the story, or maybe The Vain Man (because of his spectacle type)
Rim could be "The Drunkard" (because he's litteraly water XD) or The Lamplighter because as a scientist he create light...
i'm not sure of my theory, but if it's correct I think Bari (the strongest woman in blue) and maybe the Purple tears are gonna be part of demian crew. (one is in blue and super strong, and the second represent the snake)

Iori could be with Demien, then again, she could be completely separate from that group, not enough to go on right now, besides...The Damned Dozen wouldn't last 5 minutes against her, certainly not if they can't handle a Big Brother of the Middle.

i feel like Iori is 100% aware of that group, probably even having met one of them before, but i somehow doubt she is part of their group, she seems more like the type to lead others on a path that eventually leads to her benefit even if indirectly by offering irresistable deals like with roland

(hell, she might actually be involved in Limbus Company rather than Demians group because of what the golden boughs could do)

As does Sonya, Leader of the Yurodiviye (e.g. communists in all but name) at least about Demien, this was hinted at in Chapter 2.

It's personal between her and Vergilius, at least with Vergilius, due to her having a part in destroying the Orphanage in District 22 that started the chain of events that led to Vergilius meeting Faust.
