i say this after pulling on a banner i have all the ids for because i might get a good id
When you start feeling comfortable with what team you've got you could start saving for the recurring Walpurgisnacht event.
Pulling standard gives you the same odds for any 00, any 000, and any EGO currently available from it, while pulling from a target banner increases the odds of getting one of the IDs/EGOs featured on it.
Generally, you should save your pulls for Walpurgisnacht...but that's far enough away that you can afford to hit a couple of banners, especially when you're still starting out and aren't ready for MD yet.
If you already have everything on a banner, you're better off pulling standard. The only thing you're more likely to get from the banner at that point is a duplicate of something you already have, which will get you some egoshards, but there are better ways of getting those.
It's actually better to roll on EGO banners over standard, even though you should not roll for EGOs specifically, the odds are too low to make it worth.
Also, dispenser > gacha obviously. Aim more for sharding things you want specifically than rely on gambling to get them. Although once you have a lunacy stokpile you should spend it on something once in a while. You get enough free rolls in between Walpurgisnachts to spend some on randome banners in between.
