Pablo. Like Pablo Escobar

we call it pablo

It was called Kafka by the community, until some dingus started calling it Pablo which caught on far faster.

Which is such a huge disappointment. Kafka is a far, far better name than a random ass spanish name that has nothing to do with Gregor.

Which is why I refuse to call Kafka "Pablo".

I will now refer to the little guy as Kafka because that's an on-brand literary reference as opposed to a random spanish name for no reason other than "quirky."

Thank you, fellow pmoon enjoyer

Grete is also an on-point name and - let's be honest - is probably what the roach is gonna be called when we revisit Gregor's story in (presumably) Purgatorio or Paradisio.

Can we even be sure it's always the same roach? Anytime you see one, there's usually a nest full of 'em nearby.

I mean, there is always one in almost all of his ID art and not more (I can't find Kafka in the Edger Heir uptie art). Who knows he might have a nest of them in his private room but at this point it is more looking like there is only one and it is Gregor's personal pet (Probably an emotional support pet because he is always the bud of every joke and is barely taken seriously).

I don't think there needs to be an entire swarm of roaches in any of his portraits for it to be a different roach...
