Never ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mind, Meursault shouldn't have his Cinq Association identity be based off of this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ loser
The glorious man that is Meursault would never betray anyone not even if his life was on line. He wouldn't stab someone in the back especially if he was in the Cinq Association. But this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ named Camille had the audacity to make our future 3 star identity to a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 2 star bloodbag or bloodfiend identity by stabbing Romero in the back. ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ SMH. I wanna decimate this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ twink so bad. Why Meursault! Why did your Cinq Association identity be have to be based off of this Cinq Twink! I'll have you know I'll ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ EGO spam this MFer if we ever get to fight this XQC, Argalia wannabe, Hopkins long lost cousin looking bimbo. I am so glad that I didn't uptie Cinq Meursault because we know this identity not canon or even real. I feel like I'll have this mysterious anger and urge to kill someone if I saw someone cosplaying as that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ TWINK. I think Meursault would feel disgusted if he had to use that Cinq identity knowing that identity was based off of that twink. OH!!! GLORIOUS PROJECT MOON!! GIVE OUR GLORIOUS MEURSAULT A DIFFERENT CINQ IDENTITY FROM A DIFFERENT SECTION AND MY LIFE IS YOURS!!!!!

You do know that our Meursault isn't the same as Meursault IDs, right? The same thing goes for the sinners and their IDs. All sinners have a mix of good and bad IDs, whenever it is good/bad in gameplay sense or in lore sense, like how most of them got brainwashed anti-prosthetic IDs, roughly one or two got cannibal IDs, some ended up with IDs based on bosses and so on.

No matter what mirror world it is Meursault wouldn't be the type to betray someone.

So the douchebro streamer turned out to be a backstabber? That's some incredibly unsubtle metacommentary. I hope they don't make a habit of this. I already get my fill of douchebro streamers just by hearing about them third-hand. The fact that I even know who Ludwig, Hasan, and Asmongold are is a violation of my human rights.

And how does that have anything to do with him being a Grade 3 Fixer for Cinq West? Do you honestly think one of their qualifications for the job is "willing to betray anyone for any reason at any time"?

Granted, duels among Cinq Fixers are common, but skeevy guys trying to climb the ranks, like the nameless rookie Cinqlair one-shots, aren't so common. If you actually watched his uptie story, you'd realize pretty fast that Cinq Meursault is not Camille, nor is he anything like Camille in ways that matter. He may be livestreaming his duels just the same, but he still has the heart and mind of our Meursault.

Excuse me, but skeevy guys trying to climb ranks is like... 90% of the people in the City. It's just that the ones that actually do tend to have a mask for it. See: Dongrang and the CEO of K Corp.

Unmasked skeeviness tends to result in being a Rat because nobody will give you the time of day lol

OK, let me clarify, even though it should've already been abundantly clear from context: Skeevy guys trying to climb the ranks of the Cinq Association aren't so common, because it tends not to work out so well for them. As the nameless mook in Cinqlair's uptie story proved.

It's already confirmed that Cinqsault is extremely different in terms of personality to Camille, reading his Uptie story makes that abundantly clear since he's an extremely serious duellist who streams in an effort to get feedback on his techniques and form, rather than Camille's pursuit of popularity

Ehhh even then, the fact that whatshisname got to where he is despite being a douchebro proves that's not the case. The biggest difference with Cinq is that they can declare OPEN combat on eachother, so the skeevy guys just need to be strong enough to back that up. Other Wings, you could scheme and connive your way forward more easily.

Apex fallacy. And being a douchebro does not automatically mean backstabbing. (Being a streamer, on the other hand...)

Don't worry OP, Crack Faust story showed us fate of our Sinner's IDs can differ (Crack Faust has access to Faust network, so she knew she should board first class train, which led to them all surviving the trip)
And Salt in his Cinq ID does streaming to improve his capabilities by people giving feedback on it, due to other guys at Cinq not critizing him hard enough. It's safe to assume that Cinq Salt fought with Fanghunt to the end like a true Mersault would.
Why do you think camille was the backstabber? Him, and paula weren't part of a group, they were going to go off on their own.

Besides, what was their original plan going to be if hana/pcorp allowed them to stream? "Let me stream a betrayal, lol"? Do you really think streamer fans would blindly be loyal to a streamer who does something atrocious?

We don't know the details, but Romero straight up said he betrayed them. It could be done in merriad of ways, and I doubt Romero would lie about that. He seemed like a pretty chill guy, so yeah.

The punchline is either going to be something like "for the views/content" or "I am going to sabotage all the popular fixers so I can become even more popular and be #1 in the 'Fixers I want to have dinner with' contest!"

"the other fixer who was assigned to the same area as us" was what Romero had to say. not only is that not pointing to Camille, but since Camille and Paula (Zwei lady) are off doing their own thing, that's a point in favour of innocence.

Why do people keep claiming that Camille and Paula backstabbed the Fanghunters, when this was huge operation with numerous other Fixers?

Camille and Paula had a mission completely separate from searching for the buttons, so they would be off doing their own thing. Romero specifically said that it was a Fixer ASSIGNED to their area, so it wouldn't be them at all.

Eh, I mean it at this point it feels like it would either be Camille and Paula, whenever they're working with each other or not. I mean for Camille's reason it could probably be something selfish like to have the most views or whatever. As for Paula, that person she that she was hired to protect could possibly be in the Kindred family.

Or, who knows, maybe it is Hugo who got brought into the Kindred family and wants revenge for getting his hands chopped. Or any of the Kindred we've seen before.
