Chances of getting a new base which would be somewhere in the either at the end of the current arc or sometime in the next arc.
Rocinante appears to possess a degree of sentience, or at the very least is able to observe the situation and determine the appropriate course of action. So, when Cassetti attempted to turn a higher Kindred (something which Bloodfiends should never, ever do), Rocinante reacted by "awakening" Sancho as quickly as possible, so that Cassetti would not be able to run away or fight back before the higher Kindred completely obliterated him.
However, what's important is what comes after that. The consequences of being awakened so quickly and suddenly appeared to have left Sancho in a greatly weakened state, where she needed Dante's help to re-equip Rocinante (though this might just be Sancho being a haughty Bloodfiend, we'll have to see). Given that Sancho was presumably the false human "Don Quixote" for multiple decades, it would make sense that she would normally need time to fully revert to her true/former self. However, since that would also leave her vulnerable, Rocinante decided to NOT give her that time back on the WARP train.
The second "awakening" in 7-35, however, appears to be how Sancho was supposed to be awakened - a somewhat methodical process that takes several minutes, as her memories slowly come back to her and her Bloodfiend powers are resurfacing gradually. Presumably, her slowly transforming like this creates better odds of her physical and mental condition remaining stable once she has fully turned from "Don Quixote" to "Sancho."
Of course, this slow transformation means that she's likely in a very vulnerable state, but in this case, none of the Bloodfiends in La Manchaland intend to harm her during this process - since this "awakening" was exactly what they were trying to achieve.
