Need help with 7-34
Her attacks roll higher than mine for the most part, i can't clash reliably against then, and if i don't clash i can't get SP and she buffs her allies.

How did you guys beat this boss?

Edit: Ended up beating her with a sinking team, took 2 tries due to bad rng on the first turn, i don't really know if this boss was hard or if it just has high clash values. The amount of buffs and passives you have to keep track of don't help either lol, i could fill out an entire page with them. I did like the fight, but i enjoyed the barber more.

Erlking Heathcliff goes DULLAHAN-YA, AOE S2 goes *Slash* *Slash*, minions dead. Considering the boss and some of the minions have sanity, sinking trivializes the fight. His resurrection ability might come in handy as well. This might be most optimal.

But actually, anything strong will do. First time I went with tremor just because "well I need to bring don, and the strongest don I have is T-corp. Guess we doin' tremor now". I suffered, uh, comparatively low level of casualties, which is 4, but I beat her. Maybe burn can melt her faster via dark flame and with Sinclair AOE attacks. Maybe Rupture can do it faster due to flat damage. You can also try increasing the blood in the area to help those poor vampires with bleed team. It's an endurance fight, not a gimmick, so, yeah, anything works.

The best answer I can give you is that consistently beating her Clashable Counter is the key to this encounter. It'll not only drain her buff by 5 but it'll also drain 10 SP every time. On top of that you want to make sure you kill off her minions as often as possible. She has a special passive where if she's alone she gets staggered.

Outside of that? Equip some healing ego if you go it. Every time you kill one of her minions you get 3 resources spread around. Which, while not the best for consistently using ego can be used to help you win against her worst attacks (finale, that one green aoe) and help take the edge off the constant bleed damage. This encounter is also a chain encounter so, don't afraid to let a sinner die to do some damage if need be.

why would i clash against her counter? blooming thorn does little and it doesn't say that she loses 10 sp.

Nvm the bleed you get from attacking her is killing my sinners faster than her actual attacks.

Yeah uh, if you have ANY counts of bleed it stacks up fast. In any case I just know it kills her sanity because I watched it happen. It may be hidden somewhere under her sanity tab.

Um, well, 'blooming thorns' doesn't do much initially, but you get phase 2 (66% hp) and phase 3 (33% hp) the thorns gives her significant buffs and increases the amount of bleed she inflicts by a ton.

Yeah, thats my only issue with the fight. If anything has to be nerfed, I'd say it'd be that, maybe down to the levels of the erkling shield. sucks to have to make sinners be defensive only because of bleed :/

She doesn't inflict much bleed if you keep her thorns at 0.

I don't realize that the first time I fought her, then I did the 2nd time & it was significantly easier.

Yeah I eventually realized to have zweimael and wildcliff counter the clashes from her until she was staggered. Also dang barber outis outhealed the bleed, even at ut4. Def gonna uptie 4 her when I get the chance to.

One of the other things that's extremely useful is debuff clearing or crazy healing. I know Lantern Don can solo the fight because she has enough rupture count and healing power, but Dieci Rodion's debuff clearing at 3 insight means she completely erases a bleed stack every turn, which pretty much makes her damage taken negligable again.

Meat Lantern Don Quixote can pretty much solo her, thats how i did it xd

I beat it on my first try using lvl 50 ut4 Tremor team without losing anyone - even Xichun (until the very last turn) - without even properly engaging with her gimmicks. I genuinely did not know her counter gave her thorns.

So either I'm a god at the game, which I very very much doubt, or people are overthinking her fight. Just abuse one-sided attacks and the fact that her buffs to her goons are only +1 clash power at best (aka: can be ignored if you're already dominating the clash against the goon). Balance your sin usage for intermittent Fluid Sac usage (i only had to use it thrice)
