Her kit is actually pretty solid tho. The problem is in not being able to control her.

This is my little pet peeve in any sort of game, I hate AI companions because they mostly make things worse rather than providing proper support, they also always under perform on purpose. This fight would've been better if we could control her so she wouldn't constantly feed the boss and the Parade Bloodfiends free SP or just skip a turn by clashing a Defensive with her Defensive.

In this case she makes things worse by design.

Everything we've fought in La Manchaland gets buffed by Bloodfeast, which increases any time anyone takes Bleed damage...and Xichun inflicts Bleed with every skill.

She kept eating my rupture stacks by losing the 2 coins of her S2. Took me three tries for her to not do that to me and then she popped off.

Honestly I think slightly buffing Jia Xichun would probably be a good way to make the fight less of a road block for the illiterate and less equipped without straight up gutting the boss with nerfs.

She's not there to make the fight easier. She's there to make it harder by keeping the Bloodfeast counter rising.

And I have a feeling she is bugged, cause I never had her s3 gain additional attack weight. Maybe I need to run a few more tests, but it is what it is.

I mean the thing is she's about as good as a conditional dependent 3 star or really good 2 star. So she's a better unit than the base sinners but if you actually want her to be good you have to run a rupture team. It looks like hong lu's family gimmick is turning rupture into crit and bleed. Which is cool enough, but unless you're specifically bringing in a rupture team she's not going to be amazing.

I did bring a Rupture team and she still didn't do anything useful. Hong Lu himself inflicts Rupture and Sinking, so using it for Poise and Bleed instead might be Xichun's gimmick specifically.
