Tips for soloing
Hi, I'm a relatively new Limbus player and I want to get into doing solos (particularly MD) and I need some tips. I just gave it a shot for about 30 minutes and... its hard, I mean I knew it would be hard, but I could hardly get past the first node with an acceptable amount of HP. Clearly there's more to then meets the eye and I need to know the basics

Isn't soloing gutted with the newer mechanics where your backup sinners replace empty slots?

That being said, i cleared MD with solo jefe once. Man had no stagger bars but boy did that take forever.

Yes. It isn't.

1. If can, try to evade, in the 2nd turn, after gaining some sanity.
2. Try to use defensive skill.
3. Mix match the id effect in seat and the one on use.
4. Try to clash with the most dangerous skill atm (Paralyze, bleed count, or both)
5. Pray for luck.
You can daily Exp with middle finger Don, that is what i do to fill time.

Only when you're going into a chain battle that requires full backup. Apparently there are some that you can still leave slots empty for, at the cost of having no backup at all.

Yeahhhhh, he's useful for a few things, but damage output is not one of them.

Ok thanks for all the help, but I’ve seen a few people recommending that I just, don’t. Which I think is what I’m going to do for now, I still want to try soloing, though. It seems to be about the only truly fun and difficult thing to do in this game. And like I said, I’m new, so I don’t have a lot of the very important things you need. Hell, I don’t even have a Don 3 star yet.

If you wanna get your feet wet on soloing, Thread Lux is a good place to start. Really, it's a good place to test just about anything.

In the mirror dungeons, Shi isn't a bad thing to solo with so long as you avoid bleed nodes. Shi has a Ego gift you can start with that reduces the damage they take by 75% when its upgraded. Get the wrath heal item after that and you got yourself an unkillable machine of doom. Shi don also has evade if I recall?

Look, I suggest you just gain some weight in the game before you do solo runs. They require a lot of investment. So, well, spin some more banners this season, maybe you will get lucky and all that obsolete stuff will fall into your lap, and you can gradually upgrade it. I mean, you should NOT waste your precious shards and crates to get G-corp Gregor just for his passive, for example. Besides, PM might create even more OP stuff like Erlcliff, which will obliterate mdh on it's own. So, just, don't make solo runs your priority in the game.

And to challenge yourself, well, you can try doing base sinner runs. There are certain people who do that. It is also challenging, but requires less investment.
Thanks for all the help, y’all!
