I find it really stupid to even argue over it.

The game contains only an interpretation of 'Moby ♥♥♥♥' in it. Comparing it like it's the same thing because it has it in it is in bad faith.

The relationship of QQ and Ishmael isn't portrayed as vividly in the game as it is in the book too. So while there are some 'romantic' moments like E. G. when QQ described Ish's hair and the knife scene.
It doesn't go to the "Bosom buddy skin on skin" level like in the book and we'll never know how far it went.

So yeah, I'd say that Limbus portrays their pairing as more Friendship-like rather than Romantic and/or Sexual like in the book. But I'm me and you are you, we will never think the same.

So to you, Ishmael and Queequeg needs to have a skin on skin moment to tell us that they are in that kind of relationship? While people that are so against seeing that in games lately, there is no winning in that argument. I personally don't like forced LGBTQ representation in games but simply making up excuses that certain characters aren't gay is just ridiculous. Ishmael wanted to be with Queequeg even after their voyage on the Prequod.

I swear the thought process running in the background to why Ishmael and Queequeg aren't a thing is so dumb.

The story doesn't need to spell it out to you about a persons orientation, last time I heard, you all don't want others to announce their orientation but at the same time you want proof that they are that orientation.
