or perchance, that new tier 3 ego gift for poise can take its place...

I doubt they'll make it like it was when MDH was freshly released, where the rolls were actually beatable (10-18). Nowadays everyone and their dog rolls 18-24 in MDH, forcing you to use E.G.O to even get a chance to breathe (or, of course, utilize Bloody Mist).

(Forget about the clash-up buffs, just the level difference alone gives them like +4 clashing power at minimum!)
Well, might still be feasible to quit it at floor 5 and get 100% of the BP. But that's it, I guess.

Or they can use the same team(s) and just not be quite as busted as before. Also "adjusted or changed" doesn't really serve too much of an indication of what's being done, and how much love or hate the other fusion gifts are going to get compared to the mist.

The crafting formulae being changed on the other hand is understandable; if tier IV gifts can be used as fusion material, and fusion material has a point value based on its tier, then making a tier IV out of a single tier I and III would probably be gaming the system a bit. Especially ones like Soothe the Dead which even the base components have zero use in one's inventory if they're not running the theme.

Lol, wasn't it obvious I am exaggerating? Mid canto 6 I started preferring burn over bleed anyway, cause glimpse of flames is OP, enemies just pop after round 1.

Rupture is just kinda in the gutter, so they don't bother. At least normal rupture. Played in this md chage/rupture split, it was kinda pleasant. High rolls from charge combined with 50 stacks of rupture. Chill run, press winrate type. Even better because you don't really need charge t4 gifts fro that, although that hand thing which gives charge at the beginning of combat to everyone came in handy.

I'd argue that Thrill is even more broken than Bloody Mist and it's not even a fusion EGO Gift, since it can 1 turn most fights as you see high numbers from more than the 400's popping up everywhere on the screen but sure Rupture outside of MD is in the gutter so no point in sorting out a Gift inside the MD.

Huh.. the only time I ever lost an MD run was when the game crashed and corrupted my auto-saved run. Meanwhile you make these confusing hyperbolic comments.

How on earth are you still struggling with the game with 700 hours of experience? You can beat MDH without stupidly high power, just by playing more carefully. Why even take those bad clashes? Just do a bunch of one-sided attacks to stagger and deny them their turn. Or swap to defensive (enemy doesn't get the benefit of high offense level that way). Or cast one good AOE EGO of appropriate damage type to stagger the entire enemy team.

Glimpse of Flame and Thrill will not get changed, so things will still explode on their own in 1-2 turns. MD Hard was always a free win. Every single time you complained it's too hard, you were wrong.

Heh, the only time I lost is when the new one just got introduced and was around for 2 weeks I think. I was running burn and activated the sign of roses battle. My Phillclair transformed and when the roses appeared I saw a nice chunk of 200k damage on the red rose if I hit with his S3. Unfortunately, I forgot about it's passive, that when killed with attack it returns the damage, so he disintegrated XD. And then it kinda went poorly without him on floor 5, had to restart.

I can understand a loss coming from misunderstanding an enounter, especially when it's a hidden passive on one specific minion that doesn't even spawn sometimes, but Carthief's compaints always, invariably, come down to "enemy roll high, can't do anything".
I don't mean to sound hostile. I'm genuinly curious why our experiences are so different.

I mean, high rolls can be a pain, but they aren’t exactly the most deadliest thing.
My MDH experience has been pretty good, even if I started when MD4N but not MD4H was out (then when I got to do MDH it updated to MD4H, unfortunately)
High clashes can be an issue, but by the time it creeps up on you you either have the ego resources to use egos to win clashes, or have ego gifts that trivialize the clashes (gossypium ++ is underrated).
Maybe carthief just doesn’t choose the gifts that help or only picks mounting trials that are coin/clash/final power up?

Yeah its impossible to lose, unless you're a new player with only a few 000 IDs and no EGOs.

Let's keep pretending like MD4H is hellishly hard, when it's actually the easiest iteration of MDH yet.

Bleed team still has Wound Clerid which they can start with, and their overall ID quality has improved drastically since the start of the season. They'll still be busted.

Bloody Mist will still probably be forceable too, maybe not by floor 3 but by floor 4-5 now.

The game knows that I am going to miss the chill, starlight-buffed dungeon experience that it decided to give me both bloody mist pieces before going into floor 2 on my last MDH4 run.

Nah, never really go for the clash-up gifts. The fact the enemy gets a huge level advantadge just give them like 4-6 or way more clash power. It's kinda rediculous... (And doing defensive buffs makes them god-awful uber tanks that'll never die, gee, that's fun...)

Best one could hope for is that sticking to weak bosses makes MDH beatable, it's not like they're balancing this ♥♥♥♥ when there's bosses no MDH team can beat without altering the clash values in their favour. (Or some kinda ultra-damage cheese.)

Guess that'll be "fun", figuring out how to bypass PM's crappy """balance"""... Or to see if BM can still be reliably obtained in some way...
