then you want to quickly inflict count and res 4 glut for talisman, then abuse the hell outta rodya and mersault skills that don't consume rupture count, you want to always stay up in count and if necessary use def skills to not consume count
in md if you get thunderbranch you're set and if you get thrill every battle will end in like 2 turns
1. Talisman Sinclair is a must have support passive, as mentioned in the comment above me; it allows you to set up stacks incredibly quickly in terms of potency due to the mechanics of the Talisman effect, overall in a team you want either Devyat Rodya/Lantern Don to get it. Using Skill 3 with Rodya, and either Skill 2 or 3 In terms of Don.
2. Fanghunt and Seven Heathcliff have good Rupture count if managed well, mostly coming from their "On Clash Win" conditional. Good for keeping up a stack after it gets set up.
3. Cinq Meursault and Devyat Rodya have skills that do not spend count after a threshold is met, very very strong; but don't forget that these IDs stop inflicting rupture at this point.
4. Ring Yi Sang is a secret rupture ID in my wholehearted opinion. If you like gambling of course. His skill 2 can go up to +6 Positive on rupture count if you hit the jackpot. In terms of normal gameplay, I feel having his generalist support (including the fact that he is also self sufficient with his own bleed) can help along fights in big ways, especially if your just learning.
For more specialized setups (like quick kills or low turns in railway)
1. Gregor A.E.D.D is the count king, making any gloom skill go completely neutral on hit. Combine this with a Talisman Sinclair (FIELDED) setup, and you can easily have a 99 Potency stack in 2 turns. With some resetting, of course.
2. L.C.C.B Ishmael can be a powerhouse when it comes to setting up and bumping up stacks with her skill 3, if you get lucky she can go earlier in the chain and you can take advantage of a HUGE 5 same turn fragile! A very strong ID for this archetype, but lacking in numbers and clashing ability. I would avoid Uptie 4, as the aggro does have a chance of getting her killed incredibly quickly. Though that is your own choice.
3. Seven Ryoshu has Icebreaker as a support passive, which grants the lowest HP unit the ability to inflict an additional rupture potency on application, I just feel as if it's a forgotten passive.
Overall, Rupture is an incredibly powerful (and fun!) status effect. Just try and do the math in your head as you get through fights and you'll do great!
If you want a resource to be able to compare and contrast IDs for team-building or just getting an idea of what you need and want to upgrade, I'd recommend the Limbus Database (limbus. kusoge. xyz) ((breaking up the link so steam doesn't get mad at me)), which is far more informative than the Fandom Wiki or the incomplete Wiki.gg we have.
I hope this was helpful, happy... rupturing?
