heathcliff id for canto 6, need recommendations.

Since i'll be forced to use heathcliff for canto6 and considering i never used him before, which id should i grab?

Most of my usual team comp is bleed/poise.

You can't go wrong with Suncliff, in fact he's particularly well suited to it. You can just borrow him.

for this ch specifically sunshower heath is solid (sucks a$$ everwhere else tho still) aside from that i wouldve reccomended peqoud heath since he can apply bleed and has poise synergy too but he was limited to last season afaik so rip

of the 2 remaining 000 id pick up oufi over rabbit here cuz rabbit doesnt have the sustain for longer fights in ch6 so he kinda falls out (also think blunt that oufi has is generally effective tho i could be miss remembering). that said rabbit heath is an all round solid id you can use pretty much anywhere other then long fights. oufi is gonna want to be in a tremor team to really shine which im assuming you dont have.

in the end its up to you what you go for

sunshower heathcliffe for the first part of the chapter (specifically because of the status effect he gains)

than just use pequod heathcliffe for the rest... for just use him for the entire thing

Sunshower H is actually useful in this canto and will probably never be needed again, so borrowing him from someone else is perfect.

I leveled mine up to 44, uptie 3 just because I only have Rabbit for cliff options, and I got him from some random banner.

I used R cliff, but he isn't ideal, potential man and quecliff perform better on the longer fights imo

Or I guess Pequod Cliff makes sense because he's sort of a bleed/poise id for md purposes.

Sunshower is both blunt resistant, and optimises well with the initial debuff. But he also fits in pretty well with Sinking teams, which are the best type for the fights Canto 6 expects from you.

He's also great for solo'ing the level 40 Envy Luxcavation, which is a major pain otherwise. So I'd almost say that it is worth picking up and levelling your own copy. Although since the next canto will probably give us a new tier of luxcavations, he might lose that niche.

Failing that, Pequod would be a good pick, for the needed tankiness. Or heck, his base ID being blunt resistant is an option to level. Oufi wants a tremor team, even though he can break even on his own, his coin power only becomes good when there's supporting tremor IDs.

All the other Heathcliff IDs have the drawback of being either blunt fatal (bad for this canto), or Shi, which will slowly kill himself, and a lot of fights have "I win if Heathcliff dies" on their passives.
