also the games assessment of rolls has always been off since it never factors number of coins. better to do it by eye if you're having trouble
Yeah dominating and favored are extremely misleading and you have to check the numbers yourself because ususally dominating and favored just means if you don't roll all heads you'll lose the clash and any clash that is neutral or below is a guaranteed lose.
If the boss is using a multi coin skill with high base power, then your odds are usually a lot worse than indicated. Its not rng its just that the clash predictor doesn't work as it should.
(at best you should look at the values on top, if your max is higher then theirs, its a "Maybe", if its lower then their max and saying favored, you high likely to lose said clash)
