Canto 4 4-48 is a absurdly unfair fight.

Theres no way to maintain sdanity to reliablly win against this boss, and the duel phase pretty much decides if you win or lose a fight which is stupid when every attack is rng based.

Is this Dongbaek again? Can't you just build sanity off of easy clashes against the non-boss entities and then use EGO to better guarantee winning against Duel clashes?

Took me forever to do it but my issue was just knowing when to clash against which skills and balance killing the initial ads once they hit lvl 2/3 version of themselves. Preventing seed stacks is very important. I also used the aoe EGOS i had. to clear low or staggared ads while clashing with the appropriate enemy skill.

i was having trouble with this due to an extremely suboptimal team but i managed to clear it, you need to focusing on winning the clashes in phase one and once you get to phase 2 focus on winning clashes against and destroying bushes and winning clashes against "flowering buds". save your egos for when she uses "magnificent spring breeze". then when she goes into the duel phase, win twice and she will debuff herself. after that, it's a straight shot and if you did it right, you can easily dps her down even with a team that's bad for this fight (i had almost all pierce IDs and managed to do it after taking my time and reading the mechanics)

if you under level ofcourse you cannot win clash, your offense level low because low level.

your clash power = your level & uptied.

if you cannot answer this question, then this post is a clown point bait farming.

the stage already told you the level requirement, so level up over it and uptied to increase your clash power.

also buy fluid sack to restore all team Sanity.

sanity is your life and death to clash.

and also this boss has sanity, you can just use sinking team and make dongbaek -45 sanity make her never win a single clash.

I recommend putting your strongest clasher in slot 1 of the team and taking 1 less team member to give your leader 2 skill slots. They'll quickly hit max sp and will be able to fend off most of donbaeks relatively low rolling attacks, and then during the duel just make sure your attack rolls higher and if not use an ego and then you win after 2 turns of duels.

If you don't have any good clashers you can always borrow one from a friend. Stuff like Cinq Sinclair, R Ishmael etc

If the game is that hard and stressful for you, you are going to feel even worse when you get to the actual, slightly challenging fights later on in the game.

Don't stress yourself out and just watch let's play's if the story is still interesting to you.

This fight was tough.
I had to level up my guys to around lvl 28 to beat this one.

I had to give a few tries to get the early crashes. Then have to take out trees as quickly as possible, maybe with some AOE EGO.

Also, I got lucky on duel phase. I had just enough to spam 3 EGO to survive the duel.
