Judge my perfect team for Canto 6.

Yi Sang - W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent. Lvl 45.
Sinclair - The One Who Shall Grip. Lvl 45.
Mersault - Blade Lineage Mentor. Lvl 45.
Ryôshû - W Corp. L3 Cleanup Agent. Lvl 45.
Faust - Lobotomy E.G.O::Regret. Lvl 45.
If you guys must ask yes, i have all of the best E.G.Os for all of these units.

Boi, we haven't even ran into any serious fighting for now, it was mostly race against time for 10 turns, chill out. Bring this up when something like Ricardo from previous season shows up. Also, this is a mix team, with all 3 damage types, which is cringe by default. Who puts BL Meur without BL members?

I mean, I will admit I'm using Regret Faust and she's alright for the missions but for me she only works because I'm running tremor. As the other guy said these missions aren't hard, well if you actually run level 45 ids they won't be. God does 5 levels make a difference against high offense level enemies. Anyway, your team will probably do about as well as tossing in any random assortment of meta 000 ids will. So I don't really see why you're asking about it.

I mean I EX'd all of them first try, but I was certainly getting annoyed with losing my every time I used an S1 or taking enough damage they staggering my peeps often. I still think they should do UT5 in smaller batches just so they don't hold back all other content for 3 or 4 weeks straight to figure them all out a once, but that's also me being wary of more cases like sloshmael and Zwei sinclair. Which barely got amped by UT4 and it feels likes that's the case strictly because they were doing them all in such a big batch.

These units are okay on their own but they don't really have much synergy when slapped together. Captain ish and bamboo hat mersault both rely on absolute resonance which you're not going to get on this team. On top of that, mersault's strength isn't that he's a strong unit individually, it's that he buffs up the other blade linage ids massively. Running him alone completely wastes all of his potential.

You're not running a don ID so there's no telepole to help ramp up ryoshu or yi-sang's charge quickly (and on top of that, w yi-sang really wants to be on a rupture team in order to shine). Regret faust is doing absolutely ♥♥♥♥ all in this team. Nclair is nclair I guess, but I don't know. These are decent enough IDs sure, but you just cobbled them together with no real thought as to how they actually play for function together.

I'm going to have to give this team a big thumbs down. Do some reading, figure out what role IDs are supposed to fill and then try again.

Tho really its basically Blunt, Envy+gloom(dead rabbit's P), and slash(butlers)

story is kinda the time that you can get away with levelling the units you just think are fun or cool and making it work, for me anyhow. i used base heath, zwei faust, the lccb trio and kk gregor. just at lv 40. i missed the 10 turns on the boss stages but otherwise it went great tbh
also is kimsault rly that good on his own? i managed to shard him before the event ended cuz i knew he gets cracked on pride teams and i didnt feel like waiting 2 seasons but i never really bothered testing him with the regulars

Kimsault's a solid ID on his own he's just a lot more boring. He doesn't have access to his interesting passives or effects and just benefits from standard high coin power benefits. If you can activate pride res he still gets his 1 turn immortality and his S3 still has its effect even without the team, but he has a character is only is only showing 30% of his potential when played on his own.

Does she? I run sinking (Spicebush Yi Sang, Molar Ish, Dieci Rodion & Hong Lu), but Regret Faust always gets slot 1 in my team because AoE skills always feel broken in human fights. Part of the reason I'm reluctant to remove Spicebush from my story lineup, since all story stages have a 'turn objective'...

Then there's 7 Heathcliff, because I'll be using him for the entire Canto and I don't have an ID for him that synergizes with the others XD.

Oh yeah, I'd definitively have dumped the lvl40 ticket on him if I'd have pulled him after looking over his skills, but alas... I ended up pulling 2 EGOs instead.

He's got a spot reserved on my tremor MD team whenever I end up getting him.

Need a lot of E.G.O shard to be generated to abuse the most powerful E.G.Os. This is the most compatible team.
