What's double annoying about that one is if he flips the guard coin after hitting the threshold, because then you're still doing 0 damage and can't break it so he starts the next phase with the extra protection.

His clash is very low compared to past bosses like Ahab Trio or Ricardo. He gets especially mauled by Tremor or Sinking as staggering him can make you burst him down to his 2nd phase and Sinking screws over his clash chances.
But seriously, his highest possible clash power is a 19 that only pops up on Phase 2 (Just Bodysack). Otherwise, his average clash power is around 13 at best, which can be clashed by pretty much anyone.
