How did you all beat 6-29?
I'm just gonna say this, from a game design standpoint this is the worst most egregious fight I've ever experienced in this entire game. Project Moon has a problem with high difficulty spikes, I'm aware of that. But this fight feels impossible with my kit. So I want to know, for those of you who beat these ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

How did you beat them? Question from a person who lacks the money, time, or patience for this game to spend doing any of the "solutions" I've been told for this fight

I don't think it really matters what IDs I use tbh, they are way too busted and none of my good IDs will work. I wanna know what you used for it so I can maybe use it for reference when I finally get said IDs in 3 months

With this team: https://steamcommunity.com/id/Kildread/screenshot/2526030627512829077/

Spicebush/Regret AoE skills don't really mean that much in that fight, but they can help get rid of the flunkies early if you can proc them on turn 2 (For Regret) or turn 3 (For Spicebush).

I mostly remember that I struggled a lot, but I had a team at lvl 34 so it doesn't help at all.

I definiely had zwei gregor and K Corp Hong lu, as well as sun shower heathcliff. I think the other three were warp don, bamboo meursault, and maybe seven faust.

Anyway, I had a very defensive playstyle, I basicaly sacrificed K Hong Lu by overdosing him on ampoules (and still won), while Zwei Gregor reached stupid levels of defense lvl up, just to let the rest of the team slowly weedle down the boss. But I think you can do better, that team was barely functional

I would avoid taking risky clash unless I could guarantee that the next clash (after the risky one) was dominating even if they roll all heads. Instead I'd spam defensive skills if I wasn't sure.

Their clash value isn't that high (with the exception of turn 3/6). This fight is difficult because when they start swnning clashes, their SP rise so fast that they usualy snowball right away and get max sanity really quickly.

You don't really need to kill the peons. The fight isn't any easier after they are gone.

It might not help you much, cause I am a whale and playing this since s1, so I got everything and plenty of room to experiment, and comparison with my set up might not be relevant. Ppl above gave you some solid team composition already. Generally speaking, those bastards in 6-29 will ramp up sanity pretty quickly, and weak to gloom/envy. So use sinking. Borrow new Gregor from someone if you don't have one, or some other strong sinking, like Deici Rodion/Hong Lu, Spicebrush Yi Sang. Making your dudes lvl 45 and ut4 will trivialize everything.
Slash Team with Blade Lineage and Gredgar.

Ignored the adds except when they were targeting a squishy sinner, or when close to a stagger threshold. Ignored them when staggered to focus damage on the boss. Killing the adds gives the boss extra speed die, but you probably don't need to ignore them like I did.

I forget which comp I used, it was either burn (Liu Ish, Rodya, Ryo, Meursault, Freischoats, Nclair) Or Cinq (Cinq: Sinclair, Don, Outis, Spice Yi, Pierre Ryo, Hook Lu). These teams definitely aren't optimal, they were chosen for being able to clash decently out the gate and gain sanity quickly. Lil Bro Meursault is a good support this canto, just has some antisynergy with Suncliff if you're forced to run Heath.

If you need any support IDs, let me know and I'll drop my friend code.

6-29 is when the Ring researchers get serious, right? In which case, full Blade Lineage team did it for me. Couldn't clear it with my Sinking team at the time that I'd been using (and continued to use after that one).

Meursault, claim their bones.

Ryōshū W CORP.,

All are Level 40. All except 1st & 6th are Uptie Tier IV.

Spicebush Yi Sang
Sunshower Heath
Dieci Rodion
Dieci Hong Lu
Molar Ishmael
Wuthering Heights Outis

All level 40+
Support;
Wuthering Height Faust
Middle sister Don
One who shall grip Sinclair.

If I had Edgar Family Gregor I would've probably replaced Molar Ishmael by him, but basically I turned their sanity into dust and then won every single clash until they died.
EDIT: First try too, the only stage I had to retry was 6-34 because Heathcliff thought it would be funny to fail his skill roll with a 90% success rate and then die of internal bleeding.

What, 6-29? Is there any difficulty?
Regular BL works fine.
Funk Apr 5, 2024 @ 8:47am
Regret Faust Lvl. 40
Nclair Lvl. 35
Blade Lineage Meursault Lvl. 30
Der Outis Lvl 40
Blade Lineage Yi Sang Lvl. 30

So basically I managed to stagger the boss at the second turn by using Nclair's 2nd skill at the first turn hitting him with Der Outis' first skill and managed to get Kimsault to 'claim their bones' and then staggered him with Nclair's 2nd skill again and after that it was basically light work although my Meursault died in the end D:

I wonder how hes doing on 33-34 XD
SIGNAL Apr 5, 2024 @ 9:35am
Used a Blade Lineage team, which had obvious benefits damage-wise

Strategy:
I kept a close eye on their stagger thresholds, and aimed to stagger and kill the mooks first before going after the leader. If I couldn't kill an enemy in stagger, I'd try to bring it as close as possible to the next stagger threshold.
If the leader was using an evade skill, I used a defense skill to offset it, which would disable his evade.
If I couldn't win a clash, I'd set someone else to intercept with a defense skill (Ideally someone who could evade)
