MB Outis - How to use effectively?
With this being my first Walpurgis Night, I picked up Magic Bullet Outis since I've wanted to make a burn build for a while, I don't really understand how to use her though. Could someone explain? Much thanks.

IMO it takes too long to get to that payoff and it's often better to just fire off that S3 for the Dark Flame application. Even if you don't have much burn applied, note that Dark Flame also lowers enemy defense, so the rest of your sinners also get a boost in raw damage (Assuming Outis moves first)

A lot of times, I've had MB Outis at 3 Magic Bullet, with two skill slots. To maximize Dark Flame, I need to use at least one S3

Ideally, I'd use a S2 to build up to 4 Magic Bullet and apply 4 Dark Flame. Then I'd also use a S3 to build up to 5 Magic Bullet and apply 5 Dark Flame. That's a whopping 9 Dark Flame on a single target! High payoff, and faster to set up than 7 Magic Bullet

Use her in Burn TEAM. Use Skills that gain Magic Bullets. Use Skills 3 if you've high Sanity Points.

I should add that I mostly am having trouble with building up the magic bullets buff on her, it seems like the skill doesn't appear consistently enough to build up stacks quickly

Give her 2 Skill Slots. If you only have Skills 1, use DEFENSE Skills once per TURN. Any more doesn't give more. That DEFENSE Skills must Clash, else you don't get Magic Bullet.

Oh I didn't know the defense skill could only give one per turn thats super helpful. How do I give a 2nd skill slot? It feels random whenever my units get a second one and I feel like I missed something in the tutorial

Your characters gain extra turns based on their order in pre-fight selection screen. In regular fights, simply make her slot 1 to get the extra turn first. In focused fights, you already start capped. However, if you come in with an incomplete team (for example 4/5 people), your slot 1 will get an extra turn. It's great for build-up characters like Bullet Outis.

Before Battle, in Deployment phase, clicking on her 1st gives her number "1". She's the 1st person to get Skill Slots. In Focused Encounters, bring 1 fewer Sinner than the maximum number of Sinners allowed to get more 1 Skill Slot.

Another advantage of having 2 slots on her would be a much faster maximum payout. With a good draw, you could scale up your Magic Bullet to 2, then during one turn play your Skill 3 twice, dealing 3+4 Dark Flame, potentially destroying the boss next turn with enough Burn.

MB Outis aims to inflict Dark Flame, which basically multiplies your Burn damage and deals it as Pride damage (Burn will still apply normally as true damage).

The goal is to apply some amount of Burn potency on enemies (Preferably with some count to make it easier to stack), then apply large amounts of Dark Flame to multiply the damage.

Outis can build up more Dark Flame at once by gaining Magic Bullet with any skill that isn't her S1, including her defense skill. Though note that her S2 will only inflict Dark Flame and gain Magic Bullet if her current Magic Bullet count is below 4.

It's still completely viable to use her S1 to apply Dark Flame, though, if you simply want to double the Burn damage.

In human fights, this maxes out to a total of 12 skills on the dashboard (I think?)
In focused fights, this maxes out to the maximum number of sinners you can bring (Typically 5 or 6)

To make sure MB Outis gets a second skill slot, make sure you select her first when choosing which sinner will fight. Each sinner will get a number so you know the order.

This pretty much answers everything I had wondered about this so thanks! I just want to double check first but past having 4 counts of Magic Bullet, should I just use her defense skill to get the max amount of damage for her skill 3, or is it not worth it? 1. her damage based on how many stack of burns and stack of her blue flame.
2. burn was cap at 99 with her blue blame there is no cap you can 500 damage or more with stack of 99 burn with blue flame stacks.
3. you can increase her magic bullet damage with LCCB ryoshu passive support.
4. her potential UNLEASH when you Have 7 Magic Bullets then reset to 0

how to refill her magic bullets ? guards and use her blue skills thats it.
her ut4 gives poise on skills with 4 def level down
her sunshower ego gives you poise on clash win
put em together for a crit machine
(also abuse kromer's stagger to get even more poise, or use MFE heath on gaze to inflate his max HP)

Bring a benched shotgun LCCB ryoshu for her passive to get an insane dps output for MB Outis shots.

Would be better if Ryoshu was on the field tbh
Cheap 2 Fragiles next turn or 4MF on Burn team seems more useful than a passive that takes many turns to set up (Need Shootis to have 7 bullets)

I can't make super big use of this atm since a lot of my damage comes from W corp Ryoshu, but I will definitely keep this in mind later down the line.
