rabbit Heathcliff consuming double ammo now?

idk if its only me, but i just found that when my rabbit Heathcliff using the concentrated fire(which is the green ability), 6 ammo just gone.
it happended in current event and the new MD.
Didnt test it in other stages tho.

same phenomenon occurs in MD4, I could not find an EGO GIFT that seems to be the cause.
Also, a bullet consumed even with the 4th coin of skill 2.

i think it's only happen in MD4
the first skill use 3 bullets instead of 2 bullets
the second skill sometimes use more than 3 bullets

Yes confirmed in MD. PM are probably cooking something ammo related and accidentally pushed an update on R Heath.

You can try getting the new pierce gift Bandolier to replenish his ammo in the meantime.
