I never thought I'd hear that phrase, but here I am.
Tbh Canto 3 is the only canto where none of villains could have reasonably survived. We basically went genociding that entire faction.
Depending on how things go with this season's Heathcliff there might be room for a playable ID to also be an enemy, but I don't see that happening; Sinclair has an actual corresponding member of the villain team (Demian) and Kromer was butchered on-camera.
I am butthurt that we'll never see the cute psycho, but assclown villainess Ahab is going to return at some point.
That said, I doubt we'll see that any time soon except for when we start fighting the full rogue's gallery. Sinclair already had a real canto, and while I would like to see some sinners get a new canto to really explore their growth they aren't one of them.
Whatever option happens be great considering I love Kromer as a character and would love to learn more about her, considering what her main motive was, if she was doing everything because she really hated prosthetics and had bad history involving it, wanted to gain power just for Sinclair, or if she was power hungry just for the sake of being power hungry.
Whatever possible path they end up going with, it could open up to new N corp enemies and IDs and a Kromer boss fight with a mirrorworld twist, which, now that I think about it, would overall be a neat gimmick for all enemies and boss fights. I mean, if perfect Heathcliff is a thing then I definitely want to deal with a perfect Kromer.
I believe so too. And for the same reason I believe in full N Corp sinner team at some day and in N Corp team redemption arc in general.
I can't comprehend that right now N Corp team sucks аss and every unit in this comp is mediocre at best, except N Sinclair, and maybe N Faust (with her op passive and s2 skill) and N Heathcliff (with his good coins for 00 and coin down debuff). And even including N Sinclair doesn't do ♥♥♥♥ for whole N Corp gimmick (NAILS). The only purpose of Nclair in this team is good clashing (because others can't do it), gaining fanatic buff and the lack of 6th unit applying nails
Hmmm... out of curiosity, what are you basing this belief on? I know this is not a medical or anatomy related forum, but I am genuinely curious, as that is quite a shocking statement to make.
Having one of your extremities torn off or severed can very easily and quickly lead to death, depending on the amount of blood loss and if proper procedures are not immediately followed. Being severed from the waist down is pretty much a guaranteed death, with very few recorded exceptions.
As much as I liked Kromer as a character, I think her being dead permanently adds more flavour and richness to the story than her coming back later on. Kromer did her job in Canto 3, I think there are better ways to flesh out Sinclair's story without resorting to resurrection or other fancy gimmicks.
