In the official Limbus sites it states there are 26 districts but there are only 25 districts in the map?
There are obviously only 25 districts in the map and all named with their respecting alphabets in order from the inside of a spiral to the end of it with A, B, C to Y. If there is an another district that means it is the missing Z but it isn't on the map. It could be a retcon since in the LoR it was stated there is only 25 districts but now Limbus states there is 26. If the twenty sixth district is somewhere else or near the city but split apart shouldn't that mean it is not a district of the city but an another city? My only theories are Y corp merged with Z corp or just disappeared because of the Head. Or maybe it wasn't something to begin with and was just a typo when it was written in Korean I am assuming this because in the English and Japanese translations they both state there are 26 districts.

if you flip the map by 90 degrees you will find Z corp.

Yes. It's somewhere nearby or else.

y'know there's such thing as a mystery. something can go unexplained without being a typo or plot-hole.

Sometimes mysteries are used to retcon something or could very be intentional

Wouldn't that make the outskirts part of the city? And thus making Z corp bigger and possibly stronger than all of the corporations combined?

Some people theorise that Z corp is on the moon and all the Project Moon employees are trapped there.

Hahahaha that's my favorite theory now! XD

But in all seriousness, the wiki also comments on that, so nobody seems to know right now:

well it's pretty obviously intentional 'cause it'd be a very obvious mistake to make if they messed up and there's only supposed to be 25 Wing/Districts, and there have only been 25 segments on the map all the way back to when the only source we had was an MS paint quality napkin map from the now-defunct Distortion Detective web novel, so it's pretty clear that District 26 and Z Corp as a whole is an open question, the same way things like "what does The City even look like?" was back before Distortion Detective did the napkin map.

It just bugs me when Arnold's page stated there were only 25 districts which parallels the amount of districts that Seoul has. I only assume it is a retcon because of it. I am also not sure how they'd write a 'district' not bordered to or connected but near to the city as a part of it instead of something else.

There are some other possibilities, the 26th District isn't listed on the map or at least...not on the surface map...the possibilities include:

1 - It's beneath the surface - A mega city (it's the size of about 10 Moscows) needs to get rid of a lot of bodily waste, so there's possibly a Singularity that deals with that and a District beneath the surface with people living down there...that the Sweepers can also access the Backstreets of.
2 - It's on the Moon - Not just because of Project Moon, it's possible that there's a district on the Moon, not sure what the Singularity would be, but considering that the WARP trains exist, along with the ability to manipulate the flow of time and even ANIME can come to life, it's not something that can be easily dismissed.
3 - It's in a space station in a geostationary orbit over the City - There could be a district sized Space Station above where the City is in orbit.

I can safely eliminate the following possibilities:

1 - It's beneath the Great Lake - With the unpredictable laws of it, along with the Whales, it's a place where construction would be dangerous, never mind actually living down there.
2 - The Outskirts - That's where whatever the Backstreets wont accept goes, along with anything deemed to be an impurity, so no, it's not there.
3 - Hovering above the City - That would compete with G Corp's Gravity Sphere singularity and if it stopped hovering, it would crash, taking much of a few districts with it.
