2. Plenty of people say to uptier EGO's you use alot. and EGO's that increase their Attack weight. (Stuff like Ardor Blossom star, with goes from 1 to 3 normal. and 1 to 5 from corrosion.)
Don Quixote Middle,
Ishmael R CORP.,
Rodion Dieci,
Emil Sinclair N CORP.,
& Outis Molar.
Charge like Don Quixote W CORP., Ryoshu W CORP., & Ishmael R CORP., Aggro like Rodion Dieci. Healing E.G.O. like Faust Representation Emitter, Faust Fluid Sac, Gregor Bygone Days.
Also, how good are the newer EGOs and IDs just in general / at uptie 3. Stuff like Electric Screaming, Bygone Days, Binds. Outis Butler, Family Heir gregor?
bygone days is good in a sinking team (especially since it's for two units with really good sinking id's) and doesn't really need to be uptied to 4 from what I see.
electric sheep don looks of on an envy resonance team and not as much charge. Electric sheep mers looks good for a charge team but his charge Id's are niche, especially since it takes up his regret ego slot one of the best ego's in the game.
binds outis is great for the passive, damage and burst in tremor teams, while the conversion is a little niche again as the bonus stagger damage only lasts for the turn the unit was staggered in.
Anyway, as far as ego goes the things to look for are cost efficiency, hp/sanity regen, high clash power and aoe. So, I'd say all WAW except Outis Binds and Roses Gregor, they seem too expensive and provide small value. In terms of HE definitely Fluid Sac, Lantern, Buddha Heathcliff, maybe both Pursuance egos. For TETH it is Regret, Rime Shank. ZAYIN tbh the only worthy I found is Ryoshu's default ego, better clash and more fragile, maybe Legerdemain is worth it but idk.
Everything else is mostly preference. Do you play burn? Moth Ishamel, 4th Match Ryoshu. Charge? Telepole don, new charge sheep ego. You get the idea.
Tbh ego have less improvement overall when going from T3 to T4. In most cases it is a miniscule buff to the mechanic, or additional aoe. Since I use most egos just to outclash smt, I keep most of my stuff on T3, cause not many have good clash value upgrade.
aha, yeah. I've been playing every day since launch, but I don't really actively keep up with any meta / keep myself in the loop, I tend to try and figure this stuff out by myself. I do ask questions now and then just to make sure I have my facts straight.
I mostly am asking about EGO since I always miss the small details, especially with the more minor details between uptie 3 and 4. I have the resources and stuff to do the upgrades, I have just not done a lot of them yet. Also, just making sure I have the right idea on the new stuff.
Thank you. Yeah I've got some of those already at Uptie 4, but still need to upgrade a few of them. : D
Binds Outis is great. Even outside tremor team, it rolls for 30 with 5-7 atk weight and bursts for at least 12 additional stagger dmg. Also has a nice passive.
It costs too much imo, more different resources thatn 30 WAW Ishmael, and less beneficial effects. It looks cool, but if we talking meta, tis deffinitely overpriced. Not to mention it's a tremor ego, and tremor is in the dumpster for the time being.
Faust - The One Who Grips (Active. Order: 3)
Don Quixote - Mittelhammer (Support)
Ryoshou - Liu (Support)
Mersault - Liu (Support)
Hong Lu - Hook Office (Support)
Heathcliff - Shi (Support)
Ishmael - Liu (Active. Order: 2)
Rodion - Dieci (Active. Order: 6)
Sinclair - The One Who Shall Grip (Active. Order: 1)
Outis - Molar Office (Active. Order: 4)
Gregor - Edgar Family Heir (Support)
This is a blunt damage and lust skill focused team. The emphasis on lust is for continuous activation of N Faust's passive on the second or latter turns to help gain momentum. If N Faust is at Uptie 4, you can use her defensive skill for triggering the passive as it's lust. Since Sinclair gets the first slot, you don't need to worry about whistles making his sanity too high, as he loses 14-25 (it becomes 19-30 when Linton Gregor's passive is on) sanity a turn.
The N. Corp support passives and Linton Gregor are for boosting Sinclair's damage, all of which are easily activated on the second or third turn. The Liu passives are for potentially boosting Liu Ishmael's and Sinclair's burn potency (they aren't that important; only here because they're easily activated and have some synergy).
Shi Heathcliff can provide an easily achieved (3 Wrath Resonance) +20% boost to damage for Faust.
It takes about 2:10 to 2:50 to finish each stage with this setup using the win-rate button. It can be theoretically quicker if you're quick enough in manually chaining lust skills together (the win-rate button doesn't prioritize lust skills, which can easily miss out in activating Faust's passive).
Greg's Linton passive for Nclair only to help Nclair to go into negative faster (for short term, it become pain to manage it in longer fight or MD) as he can have issue with positive sanity in non focused fight espesialy when you still havent activated his passive, because if we talking about damage all Linton passive does is give him 10% gloom damage? gloom damage only benefits his S1 which only do small damage to begin with, and normaly you would do to his S1 to boost his S2 or S3 instead of doing damage with it.
I don't understand your logic. Are you assuming that since Sinclair's S1 is his worst skill that it doesn't deal significant damage in the stage with Gregor's passive?
Gregor's passive, along with the other supports, can boost Sinclair's S1 damage from 34 to 50+, which is what I'd consider a pretty significant increase. When you factor in that his S1 will be used the most frequently, the overall extra damage from Gregor's passive becomes quite significant for the stage.
His S1 do 16 damage though? and Greg passive only boost it by 10%, how you get 34 and 50?
It's a blunt skill, which means it deals 2x damage to the enemies. So, even if it is a base of 16, it's a total of 32 damage when dealt to the enemies, which is what I'd consider significant when every other identity starts with 0 SP.
When he's level 45, it becomes 34 damage, which can become further boosted by Gregor's +10% and Don Quixote's +10% damage passives, making it a total boost of +20% damage. This value becomes greater if you factor in Faust's whistles as well as her fanatic and nails application, which can lead to his S1's power increasing to a maximum of 11 and dealing a further +25% damage. This makes it so his S1 can deal +45% damage at a final power of 11 for each of his coins.
I apologize if I phrased it poorly, but Gregor's passive by itself doesn't make it 50; it only helps increase it to that total when with the other supports.
