Meursault's To Claim Their Bones mechanics

I noticed that Meursault's To Claim Their Bones sometimes only uses two or three coins instead of the four in the description. Does someone know why this happens?

It’s a visual bug that happens when the defense skill kills before all of the coins roll, the middle Don has the same problem.

If the counter kills the main target before all the other targets, does the counter end early, too? Or is it like Regret Faust, where it keeps hitting?

Btw, BL Meursault is an absolute beast. Most of the time the counter only has 2 or 3 coins (in mirror dungeon). It had only 3 coins when it hit Kim at 70% health at the end of mirror dungeon hard. (I had good EGO gifts, but still.)

How do you even activate 'To Claim Their Bones' ?

You need to lose a clash with 'Yield My Flesh', then it will be used as a counter. It isn't too hard as it's a negative coin skill, but it rolls a minimum of 12, so sometimes Meursault just wins a clash despite all odds.

1 more thing, you can use his walpurgis ego Regret to lower his S3 by 3 power..because its a negative sanity coin
Similiary in MD, anything that can buff his coin power such as Poise combine ego gift, will instead lower his S3 coin power.

Nah unfortunately it won't affect TCTB because its a counter and not skill.
