What should I use my egoshard boxes on?

I have around 225 nominal ego shard boxes, and I’m debating what to get. Last time this happened (earlier in the season, aka a week ago), I chose to get the Ishmael blind obsession ego (Tactical nuke button my beloved). Now I’m debating if I should get either sunshower Yi Sang EGO (to compliment the ring Yi sang I have) or wait until next season to get Blade Lineage Mersault.
Out of those two choices, which one should I get? Or, should I get something else entirely (ex: K corp Hong Lu [but I have hook hong lu tho)?

Just save your boxes. There should be an event banner next week or the week after, it might have something worth sharding.

Also, if you are considering an upgrade for Honglu, I would go for Dieci instead of K Corp.

I have some lunacy I can use for future event banners. I could get more lunacy too, if I could get past 4-48, hence why I’m sort of asking this question. Also iirc some stuff can’t be sharded from this season, like some of the Walpurgis stuff (like Faust Regret) iirc.

In that case, I would probably shard an ID over an EGO.

Most of the hard story fights, such as 4-48, are somewhat based around getting off to a good start, i.e. winning a lot of clashes turns 1-3. So sharding a strong ID would help you a lot more than sharding an EGO that you can't even use until the fight is already half-over.

Thats something I’m also considering.
I feel like I have some solid team members like Philiclair, Cinq don, Hook Hong Lu, Ring Yi Sang, Oufi heathcliff, w corp mersault, and Butler faust & ishmael.

Yes. K CORP. is good but you're fine with Hook too.

I thought Hook was bad until I tried him at least once, then I found he was incredibly good. I think he'd be a good combo with Ring Yi Sang and Nfaust. I need to get NFaust tho, but theres no need to spend shards because she's in the banner rn

Alrighty, are there any others that go well with him? The only other blade lineage I have rn is Outis, which I've heard is absolutely horrible.

End of the season is still a good while away, so don't worry about saving for BL Meur for now. Especially since 50% of shards get converted to thread at season end. Spend on something that's available now.

Best investment would probably be to start building towards a fully coherent team. Building bleed around ring IDs and Hook Hong Lu should be a solid start.
