Limbus Company

Dongbaek bossfight thoughts?
I know she may probably be considered a pushover by og pm fans, but fighting her was probably the best boss experience I had with limbus so far. Not even counting the fact that her design is amazing, I feel like the encounter itself really highlighted the strength of the focused encounter system in Limbus.

If you try to go winrate on her, she completely evaporates your team without much of a struggle, but when you actually read her skills and manage bloom properly, she becomes a very manageable bossfight with very little ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ involved. It genuienly felt amazing having to actually utilize the speed difference and playing around with targeting, especially because some of her skills do not even need to win the clash to apply some sort of effect.

As a noob, I would like to ask, are there any other future encounters that also force this sort of engagement instead of being just a level check?

DonBaek is cool specially beautiful background change transitions & duel mode, lose duel game over. we need more of that.

DonBaek still the best Art / boss stage direction. rival to glitching kanto 6 final stage.

except we talk about difficulty level ofc people will say her a bit push over, if you don't how she work for the first time specially losing duel, the first timer will still encounter difficulty spike with her.

Well, coming from Lor, majority fights in Limbus feel mediocre. But it is a good fight, adequate difficulty, beautifully made with a nice tune in 2nd phase, had a gimmick you need to pay attention for. It was peak for s4, and still decent now.

As for future encounters, depends. There are other fights that you cannot bruteforce and would require use of brain and paying attention, indeed. However, they have been trivialized, especially the ones in canto 6, so it's no longer true pm experience, a.k.a. fighting near impossible fight. But if Limbus is your first PM game, you'll enjoy it.

I lost to her once, mostly for not understanding what she'd do when she'd initiate dueling. She's one of those fights that once you understand it she's relatively easy to handle, but not something you can actually turn your brain off for. That's about as difficult as limbus company content gets really.

She makes you think. You can't brute force through.

Yes. A few of them.

The BGM is Great but she's already been Powercrept into Oblivion for Day 1 Players. The other Gimmick Fight you might have a lot of Trouble on later is Ahab Crew if you don't have a Redirect Tank like K Corp Hong Lu.

I recommend you borrow it or a Maxed Dieci Rodya if it's too Hard for you since the Powercreep Bruteforce way is just one shotting Ahab like Railway Events and that's no Fun at all the First Time.

It would've been extremely boring for me if i just one shotted ErlKliff in Final Fight of Latest Canto.

Yes, in Canto 5 with Ricardo's fight and in Canto 6 with ??? fight, bind and speed becomes so important that if you don't do them mechanics and check, you are guaranteed to lose.
