Are the sinners tarot cards

No.1 is Yi Sang, in tarot it's Magician. Magician in reverse indicates one with doubt and hesitate, while in its normal state indicates creativity. It seems very suitable for Yi Sang before/after his canto.

From canto 4.5 we can see Heathcliff becomes a better man, he was easy to lose temper, crashing everywhere even stealing things, but throughout the latest canto we see him become a better man and even helps Ishmael in his own ways, sometimes he even acts as one with the most common sense. He's gradually becoming a reliable fighter, just like Chariot which is No.7.

Ishmael, No.8, the Strength. I think this one is especially interesting, for the reversed Strength indicates abusing power, acting strong while actually weak by themselves - Ahab calling her crew to protect her, and then become so weak in her own boss fight comes to mind. On the contrary, Ishmael, with her long time trained toughness, fights with her, yet in the end she chose another way to defeat Ahab other than killing. Showing a different strength, and mercy within.

Gregor is No.13, the Death. Throughout history we see the god of death holds a huge scythe in artworks. Gregor's bug arm looks like a scythe, he also got Yuri killed lol

Hong Lu, a sexy boy he is, is rightful for having No.6 The Lovers. My man he is so hot.

Sinclair is the most interesting one, he has his number crossed out, officially he is now No.11, the justice, but his number could've been either No.10, the wheel of fortune, or No.0, the Fool. I guess each canto is how the arcana got turnt from reversed into correct state, and I think the reversed Fool applies to him better - his ignorant led N corp into his house, and destroyed his family. Yet in the end he still stood up and fought against the cruelty of N corp.

He having at least two arcanas also quite suits the hints around him - the two colors of his original identity, and most of the identities Sinclair always act extremely different in certain situations.

I think in the next version Faust will hand everyone a handgun and teach us a different way to fight. By the way, why isn't there ranged arms for our sinners? I want to see crossbows or bows or whips too. God I hope Don whips me.

I still stand the number corresponding to arcana number theory. However, hermit feels like what Dante is, but he's 10 while Rodion's 9. These two got swapped or something, unless we have more to read about in Rodion's later canto...

Rodya is kinda teaching people silently though, maybe it indicates she's already lost virginity and quietly watches the bus crew on their way to become adults.

But alas, tarot is just one possibility. I still hope they summons personas in later cantos though

It actually makes sense to take the corresponding numbers of major arcanas do apply to each sinner, with Dante being The Fool and Sinclair being both The Wheel of Fortune and Justice, since his thing is all about duality. Vergilius could then be Temperance, maybe Charon is The Devil and the bus is The Tower.
Damn, now it all makes too much sense for it to be a coincidence.

If there is fate ids i want hong lu as Astolfo and Don as Shuten Douji. Ishmael can be Baiken, Faust be Faust.

Not actual fate fate, I meant the tarot cards. Fate is just the reasonable theme of the ID's abilities.
