I tried too many times, too many different tactics, wasted too much time. I stopped caring about the sub-100 turncount even. Just want this ♥♥♥♥♥ gone. Just want my free 50 shards to claim next season.

So what removes this ♥♥♥♥♥ with at worst 2 Sinners dead?I don't want something optimal, I want something that disposes of this abomination of a "fight" with the highest succes chance without losing too much. A effecient team with a good tactic.

I wonder if PM bugged this fight yet again. ♥♥♥♥♥ just keeps making herself invulnerable and untargetable constantly, every turn, picking off Sinners one by one without possible retaliation.
You'd think it would have a cooldown or something. Wasn't this bad when I fought her in the story dungeon... (There, she stopped after one turn and Meursault who was the target recovered from like 1% health.)

Basically Abab will have 1 rev at 50% hp or smt(or after she got staggered, forgot), so you nuke her to bait her rev 1 time and you just killed her next turn

If you cant do this, then there are longer way with Kcorp... (support if cant)
first use Effervescent Corrosion to change Kcorp envy resistant, make sure to have him agro and killed starburk first (asap, 1 turn if can), then you can start slowy killing Ahab
at 1 point, Ish girlfriend will have infinity weight and now you cant target Ahab anymore, this is why you have Kcorp with agro ready.

Your goal here is to let him tank all their attack while you slowy breaking her shield, rinse and repeat until you can attack Ahab again and killed her
You only need to kill Ahab to win that fight, you can leave Ish girlfriend alone after you break her shield.

I'm with Car on this one though, the RR3 trio fight's a bit abhorrent against most teams considering how much a single bad draw of luck can just lose that fight.

Heck, that 3 turn video's actual an example of such luck with how often the EGO's flip in favor for damage. That's harder for a good chunk of people more than just having decent speed rolls when unable to abuse Haste applications.

Can't say I care much for turn-optimal solutions with lots of rerolling skills/resetting fights, all I really need is a reliable way to kill that thing with 2 or less dead (ideally none, but eh).

Guess that's one tactic though, baiting the revive and killing in turn 2-3. Though I can pull off a 1-turn stagger somewhat, but it's far more of a luck-based hassle to get her to <50% HP. I don't see myself having the patience to pull that off...

Hm, there's a second plan, but the plan of: Stagger(turn 1)>Sub50(2)>Stagger(3)>Kill(4) goes out the window if she's able to become invincible and untargetable in the midst of that effort on turn 3 after reviving.
Else I'd have to find the poor man's way of doing it (praying to God that somehow killing the flunkies first can make it work without 3+ casualties, maybe the ♥♥♥♥♥'s mark can be rerouted to another healthier sinner while she keeps spamming ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ invulnerability every turn).

So much time wasted on trial and error due to such awful design... None of the abnormalities in LoR were this bad about it, Jesus Christ... (Nor did they have a time-wasting pre-battle...)

She does not become untargetable after she heals, long strat short spam ego and don’t be afraid to overclock (preferably pierce pride).

To elaborate futher, you can tell if Ahab will become untargetable next turn, to idk prepare tank with agrro skill/nuke her/or just to fk restart if needed
Read her skill, if it has "assist defense" then next turn she will be become untargetable
similary if she use "prey mark" Kill her rn or let your chonkies id to eat it.

Trio fight is hard, but it's one of the best designed fights in the game.

If you don't care about cheesing her with overwheling damage and just do the fight normally

step 1: Kill Starbuck asap, he's a bugger (focus your extra attacks on him after fending off quee and ahab, starbuck has like 5 stagger thresholds)

step 2: Take a tank that can shrug off pierce damage (or K Hong) and have them clash with Ahab mark skill (the one she does on the turn she defends and sets up the infinite weight queequeg taunt)

Step 3: Watch in horror as Ahab repeatedly shanks your tank (they'll live... especially if its K Hong or a meursault ID that used chains of others for the sweet permanent 30% protect ego passive) while you attempt to stagger Queequeg, alternatively just waste all your terrible weak skills on queequeg and wait the 2-3 turns for the taunt to run out.

Step 4: When queequeg staggers or stops defending fire everything at Ahab, she's weak to pride and pierce and that's about it.

Step 5: If this fails to kill you may need to repeat steps 2 through 4.

This will cause the fight to take around ~10 turns but is less aneurysm inducing than hoping your 5 corroded egos all roll perfectly with bad odds.

Yeah, suppose that's the likeliest way of doing it, gettin' pretty ol Magical Girl Hong Lu (as K-Corp) in there ready to be pierced repeatedly and take one for the team for several turns, while clearing em one by one.

Doubt I'll get away with doing the 4-turn kill (Stagger>Sub50-Res>Stagger>Kill) on her anyway as her protection likely activates even while staggered... Man, it wasn't this bad in the story. Did they buff the duration to take 2-3 turns...? Insanity... Meh.
A pity too, the fight thereafter actually has good music (still hard to top Kromer's madness, though), and I was wondering how well un-nerfed GH-Ahab would fight.

Hm, I forget, what was so hard about Ardor Blossom? (Besides some rolls getting pretty intense with so many Wrath pileups - though some Faust healing soothed the burns.)
