Poise team suggestion!

Hey guys! Just started a week ago and I was wondering on ideas for my poise team! I currently have BL Meursault, BL Don, BL Faust and BL Yang (Just farmed mirror dungeons for him I love that about this game tbh). I was thinking about adding Cinq Sinclair but then who should my last slot be? I have pirate gregor (hes not really doing much for my team atm) and im thinking about farming either for pequod heath or ishmael.... Suggestions on who I should get? Thank you!

I mean, Cinq sinclair and pirate gregor work but why not use BL Sinclair and BL Outis? In my personal tests, when on the team they do just fine provided Kimsault is in your number 1 slot. If you're going for more of a general poise team honestly you can drop BL faust and BL Don for Cinq Don and captain ishmael

Cing Outis if you want better sin affinity, since you lack in gloom and lust
otherwise, Cap ish is fine (I run the exact comp with a BL team, Ish, Cingclair atm)
But be careful, read Cap Ish sanity as her sanity works a bit differently
To counter this, put her in your first slot or in my case second slot but you have to manage her sanity more often if you don't put her in your first slot (Fine by me since I used to babysit R Ish)

BL Sinclair and Outis are bad on their own and only become usable with Meursault. They only have pride on S3 and they can eat up Meursault's buffs which your other BL units want.

Thank you for this man! Gonna have to read up on captain ishmael she seems like especially in hard mirror dungeons its gonna be a fight for her sanity lol.

I genuinely dont like BL outis kit at all I feel as if she did nothing in my team despite getting BL Meursaults buffs. I also uh heard BL sinc is considerably worse than many of his other ID's. I have N Sinclair so I could always slot him in ig

As mentioned above if the core of your poise team is mostly Blade lineage members it’s better to go full BL team for more synergy (Yes BL Outis is less than stellar but the payoff is worth it). Else there is a possible mixed bleed/poised team which utilizes the Pequod trio, pirate Gregor, BL Meursault and your choice of KK Rodion/Bl Faust/BL Sinclair.

I'd honestly suggest you don't go by what you heard on each unit. BL sinclair regularly does 300 to 400 damage when criting with his S3, at least against staggered opponents and otherwise at Tier 4 he basically obtains infinite poise thanks thanks to the fact he's gaining poise count several times a turn from his allies getting it.

As for BL outis, I guess I can understand because she does get buffed a lot by being on the team and at Tier 4 has pride dodge so she can actually dodge tank pretty well while helping you get pride A-res constantly. So her pride being her S3 isn't as bad, similarly sinclair also likes to go near last on the time and doesn't really mess up a-res that much. As for her kit not providing much? I'd disagree, but mainly because I often pick increase health as my MDH option. She gets a ton of extra damage against bosses and that's on top of the fact she has crit and crit damage doing for her thanks to Kimsault.

In my experience she's honestly fine, but then I love the match S1s and S2s gimmick going on for the team which pretty much puts her baseline clash power at like 10 depending on offense level.

Grab a bunch of BL id's and slap the nebulizer on them, and you're good to go, if we talking MD. I usually grab Cinq Sinclair instead of BL, just in case I need some heavy pierce damage, and because BL Sinclair is pretty weak if not carried by BL Sault. Throw in Pirat Greg, Capish, Harpoon Heartcliff and maybe KK Rodion, since she also has poise. That should do it.

Basicly this, BL outis is your slowest and pretty much generate no poise so she will guarantee to eat 1 buff
Which is fine I guess in MD because you have nebulizer or tons of other poise buff but she is pretty much a dead weight outside of MD and in any other team, and even still your worst id in BL team.

You just paying her just for 1 team and that team only.

Captain Ishmael got good synergy for the second skill with a bunch of pride to resonate with, though as others mentioned you do need to manage her sanity but as long as you feed her the last couple kills every battle she's fine.

Cinq Outis is probably the best tank in the game, 15-18 dodge is nuts. She clash really well too.

Cinq Sinclair got big number and many coins, a veritable powerhouse on his own.

Harpoon Yi Sang deals some absurd damage if you get some poise gifts going, but is lackluster without and not very strong at clashing.

Additionally, all above got pierce damage. Diversifying your damage output is a good thing so that you're not suffering against enemies resistant against one particular type.

Kurokumo Rodion relies solely on her skill 3 and her counter, but if you stack enough poise on her the damage output is absurd despite it being single-coin.

Shi Ishmael got ridiculous skill 2 (5 base, +4 per coin, 4 coins) if you can get her under 50% HP and keep her there.

As for the Blade Lineage squad, Meursault/Faust/Don are the actually good ones. Yi Sang and Sinclair are decent with Meursault's boost, while Outis in't really worth the slot with how tiny her number are.

For your pick, I'd recommend Cinq Outis if you're short on crates. If you have enough resources, either Captain Ishmael or Cinq Sinclair are good picks.

Go for Captain Ishmael first, since she's a season 3 id, meaning you can't shard her next season.
