Captain ishmael is fan-service
Recently within the Limbus fandom, there's been a "The fault lies with you" meme. PM has clearly noticed this. It started out with Don Quixote saying "The fault lies with me" in intervallo 3. Which was whatever, it got a chuckle out of me. But now, PM is just pushing it, especially with Captain Ishmael. It makes sense for her to reference "the fault", but she does not need to mention it multiple times. The unique dialogue in the Ahab fight was more than enough. It's turned into PM using fan-service to try and create a vague form of comedy.

I assume you're thinking, how is this discussion worthy? I feel like PM is going to do this in the future too. Slowly, slowly, we're getting fan-service. Malkuth, Pierre/Jack, Effie/Saude, and Yuri announcers make absolutely zero sense. and the only reason it's confirmed that we can teleport to the Outskirts is to set up an obvious Library chapter. For more fan-service. Not that anyone will care though, they're washing out the old Lobcorp/Ruina fans anyways.

That was my yapping session, please rate 4.8 stars.

I see no problem in that lol. What I would be worried in is WN announcers being non craftable, since it might backfire us in a future.

And this is a problem? Idk, I barely pay attention to that. It's not even entertaining, unlike when other sinners roast sinclair abought his height and sniveling.

The Don Quixote thing could just be the translator playing jokes. It's well-known that the translator does take certain creative liberties when translating the game (insert Dante's "Shuckaroonies").
Plus, the announcers has no real impact on the story or game, it's purely cosmetic. So what if they just want to give fans an ability to experience a character they like more in the form of a textbox in the top left of your battle screen that you almost never read past the first time you get them? Don't really see any reason to complain about that...
Lastly, I doubt they're really going to do anything that superficial as using the Library as a fan-service thing. The Library itself and the direction it is heading was a cliffhanger and is likely going to be an extremely huge plot point in Limbus. PM would never squander it's potential in the story for temporary entertainment, and if you think so, you must have very very low standards for them...

I'll take fanservice in the form of acknowledging inside jokes over sexual fanservice any day.

Small correction here - we've had a new English translator since Chapter 5. Park Geonwoo and Ian Watson (the old translator and localizer, respectively) left the team for their own reasons, and Chi Chong Eun has taken their place, as seen in the Chapter 5 credits.

That being said, I have mad respect for Chi Chong Eun, for carrying on the same writing style established by their predecessors (and doing it so well people can't tell the difference).

I'd really rather prefer if the translator stopped replacing ♥♥♥♥ with shuckaroonies.

I wouldn't say that the trip to the Outskirts was just setting up for a potential Library trip (I hope that never happens, those characters have been through enough and deserve their peaceful retirement.), It's important to remember that Limbus is ultimately "Dante and Vergil's World-building Adventure!", The Outskirts has always been a big blank space with "here there be Monsters" scribbled in, so of course PM is going to want to start filling in that blank at some point, it's a chunk of the world that needs to be built and this is the world-building game.

We traveled back in time to fight green dawn, dude
And you think they won't find a reason for us to go visit Gebura? They're going to make limbillion from Gebura banner, so that's just a matter of time.

Why do you think they'd need a reason? Walpurg already exists to hand-wave any and all fanservice they want, they get to have their cake and eat it too because there's a lore explanation for the fanservice events.
Anything related to actually going to the post LoR library is just not going to happen in the forseeable future, we're talking about power that can match the heavies of the Head, that's post-game superboss territory. a Gerbura banner is in a similarly "nah" camp, that's blowing their load hard and either The Red Mist gets powercrept, or Banners are disappointing forever, if we see a Red Mist banner it'll be because Limbus is dying.

True actually. I hope it will die painfully slow, so we can get Kali/Gebura LC/Gebura Ruina/Gebura Limbus banner, so we can have 4 Red Mist ID's on a field onrushing RR128
