So to answer your question. Play whichever you want first. There's no wrong answer if you're looking for a story. Whichever way you play it will be your own unique experience and perspective with it.
In terms of feeling confused or being lost, don't worry about that. While Project Moon's games do build off of each other in terms of sharing a universe, their writing does a good job at informing you of what you need to know, even if it doesn't tell you absolutely everything. You'll be able to get quite a lot of lore even just from Limbus alone.
There are (unfortunately, in my opinon) quite a few people in the Project Moon community that insist that you should play the games in chronological order. While I do understand that they have good intentions, I think it's unfair to force that upon people, as each game is a different genre, and they're all quite large time investments. So, it's all up to you!
plus there's Dante's Notes which have some titbits of lore, like what associations and syndicates are, if you are interested ofc.
Edit: The other two games are still recommended merely because they are fun, at least I find them fun, specially Library.
LobCorp is a very random management game that might not be what you want.
Library is fine but is a bad deckbuilder game.
You should jump straight to Limbus and look for videos about the other games in youtube.
ironic coming from a control deck main
yes, you should play lobotomy corp and then library of ruina after. it's the objectively best way to experience the story, as the way the games are written and designed are like dark souls in that your struggles playing the game are part of the story and experience itself.
it is an incredibly rewarding experience.
but, is it necessary?
no.
limbus company is fairly disconnected from anything that requires playing the previous games. sure; if you play them, things will make more sense, plot threads will connect better, and you'll overall have a better time...but limbus doesn't rely on the prior games, and what references there are, are fairly discreet. it's a self contained story, and perfectly enjoyable without prior context.
at least so far, that is. there's near zero chance that the game wont, eventually, start connecting itself to LC/LoR more definitively.
so, for the time being, there's no problem at all playing limbus before LC or LoR.
i cannot say the same for playing LoR before LC. play LC first.
