Is Cinq Sinclair better than N Sinclair?
It's hard to tell, but I think he is slightly better.

Worse damage and worse options for egos, but better clashing (except for s3), fragile utility, and a pretty good skill1/evade unlike N.

Thoughts?

Seems to me they are both fitted for their respective roles, can't just outright say one powercreeps the other. I like cinqlair but I had to borrow nclair to pass ricardo's damage check today.

Both kick ass, though N-Sinclair is the clear winner on all fronts, his only downside is he can go nuts and beat up your team, too. Extra power, extra risk.

The new Sinclair is good if you want a auto-pilot team that doesn't need babysitting so they don't go nuts/use skills that hurt them like W-Don. His clash values are pretty impressive, going well beyond a mere 16 and 18 if he has the speed advantadge, as if they where trying to make him equal to his N-corp counterpart, somehow.

Heck, maybe he's the best "positive sanity" ID that exists, clash-wise. (Still kinda outperformed by R-Heath in damage, though.)
Edit: Second-best, now I remember that TT-Hong Lu still exists. Still, damn, we need more SSS-tier IDs like his.

Lantern kinda make the N-corp so stupidly strong though. Not even having to care about corrosion since it aims the tankiest units on the field.

I forgot about this, but yeah I guess the fact you can make Lantern corrosion always work in your favor makes N Sinclair better then.

Cinqclair has a better skill 1 and that's it honestly. Lantern EGO and the fact that Blunt is the best damage type makes Nclair better.

6 Sinclair is part of md3 poise team which is arguably the second best team for md3 now (and will likely get even more strong units). Pierce is also good against most of stuff from floor 3 onward.

Ncalir ir good general unit to clear dailies and what not. He doesn't really have much purpose outside of that right now, imo.

N Sinclair has those whooping 18-6-0 coins at 45 sanity (which is from 2nd floor in MDH3 onward).
In other words, he sucks.
They both have upsides and downsides so its tricky to say. With MD3H its CInq that gets the better stick.... so long as hes Uptied 4. Cause N Sinclair only needs Uptie 3 to get the most of his kit. Meanwhile CInq really wants 4, for the better coin boosts and the like.
I will also say N Sinclair clearly get the love from EGO as every EGO bar Latern, wants low sanity or grants bonus for tails hits.
Its also kind of rough as they are also 2 different team types with Poise getting more love these days and speed teams starting to be a thing. While N Sinclair wants Nails which only his crew can give and Burn which really is lacking ID wise.

Pretty sure pierce is the best damage type atm? Good against canto iv/v enemies, all of the 7 slot aoe egos are pierce, r heath is pierce, w don is mixed pierce/slash, cinqlair is pierce, blind obsession is busted, etc.

Mdh3, Cinqclair has definitely the advantage
Poise artifacts are pretty good and you want Ishmael to hit everyone with an anchor

They mean that, overall, blunt has the most enemies weak to it (and iirc the most enemies who deal it, though this might've changed with canto V).

R-Ish is a better clasher as well. Granted MW, but with 6 and 7 on generation and 8 on use, it's pretty hard to MW someone by mistake now.
