Anyone tried doing a solo challenge in the new MD3?

think its definitely possible just has a lot of annoying RNG to get the right gifts since chip damage between stages with the new starting buffs is more of a prawnblem

but Kong lu is really hard to kill might have some DPS issues against the fat fairy though

Soloing the entire thing is probably difficult (not impossible) due to not being able to predict the bosses and encounters, you'd need good RNG on nodes, but every boss in MD3 has been soloed by a number of different IDs already.

Kong works fine. Slapped a G-man Gregor passive on him and G-corp Outis for random buff every turn. Worked out well enough, though, I got pretty lucky with gifts, as I've received Lithograph, Child in a flask and golden urn for extra cost, as well as talisman bundle thing. Got also lucky with that I could replace one of hist 1st with 2nd. Still, it was long af. For the next solo might try Zwei Gregor, as he can infinitely stack defence up and heal with lantern.

Edit: Zwei Gregor got wrecked, so currently it's either Kong or Deici Rodion

What you talking about. T5 will have S3 discard everything except for other S3 so you will only cycle S3 every turn and get 100% Max HP shield from the discarded skills. If you play solo, you can get up to 1200% Max HP shield.

T5 Dieci Rodion will discard her entire team (reason: they can't read)
