Dunno if that helps. Maybe uninstall, manually delete everything in the mentioned area, and re-install and try again, if you're really desperate? (Though I'd consider that a last resort. Try other methods first.)
This'll probably help someone else out. I've done all of those except the full wiping of everything on my drives, which might have to be the case. Otherwise I'm sure someone else will benefit from the note about public networks. Not something that impacted me but it's not something I would've thought to check on.
