PSA: Yi Sang's Sunshower EGO is getting upgraded to WAW

update notice states this is being changed, and the upgrade costs will be changed on the 21st, so get it to T4 before then or it'll get more expensive, this is explicitly recommended.

While the 20 more threads are not such a big deal the extra 100(!!!) shards is bloody bonkers.

It feel like a weird choice while WAW EGOs are so rare, it just makes Yi Sang better 'cause now he can slot both Sunshower and Dimension Shredder. It does make for a better way deal with it being OP than nerfing it, which is apparently PMs reason for making the change.

it is a nerf. people could spam it more and faster.
It is a buff for W sang. now it is his best ID

Eh, not really. Power is the same, usage costs are too, so it will be still as "spammable" per say. That's a nerf, yes, but more in terms of Sunshower getting strong competition (other WAW EGOs) and higher upgrade costs.

It's an interesting note that it is a buff at present, simply because it's being moved to an uncontested slot. The only downside is that the cost to upgrade it will be higher, and PM is literally warning people about that and telling them to upgrade it while the price is still low in the update notes.

Where's that coming from? casts are specific to an individual EGO and that's not mentioned in the update notes as far as I can see.

Sin cost yes, but the sanity is tied to the tier with the exception of some sanity gain EGOs that consume more than their tier would suggest.

Usage cost should be highier. Where is the source that it would cost same?

If there are any change to Sanity then they will say so in the announcement, because they did tell the increase in cost for its uptie, who is tied to Ego tier.
