The counter can only trigger up to 3(4?) times (Once, plus up to 2(3?) additional times depending on how many of Quee's EGO remains, though I cannot remember if that was 20 or 30

Your best bet is to trigger the counter with the fast units that can resist it, even if it means clashing with slower speed units, of course healing passives/E.G.Os and letting Ishmael just tank the normal skills both help as well

(Quick edit) You can also go in with only 5 sinners, to give someone else an extra skill slot, though depending on the resistances I wouldn't recommend it

i not sure if i have ppl who can resist it,so is the only way to deal with it is to tank thru it?

sadly i dun have healing passives/faust fluidsac

also,the nromal skills isnt a problem to me since i won every clash with those but i just die to counter after winning clash and punching her lol rip

You HAVE to tank those counters, so have an ID that resists Pierce is kinda needed for that. Aside from that, you can try and have 7th Asso YiSang apply his Paralysis since the Counters eat up those Paralysis counts, making them more tolerable and tankable. Have Faust regain your team's Sanity with her EGOs (base or Fluid Sac) cause having High Sanity helps a lot.

EDIT:
Do you have an ID or EGO that applies Paralysis? They could help you with the counters.

You don't. The gimmick of that phase is that her counter gets a bunch of extra activations based on the amount of EGO she has, and to deplete that EGO you have to break her shield, which will get you countered.
It's a no-win.

That team looks pretty bad to be honest (for this fight specificaly). Ish (no choice unfortunately), Rodion and Regret faust are all weak to pierce. Yi sang has no damage, the don synergy isn't too good... and then there's base ID outis (which is one of the better ones, but still).


For the counter skills, it's based on the counter below her (Queequeg's ego).
For every 10 queequeg's ego, she can use the counter.

Meaning if she has 30 Queequeg, she'll use her counter 3 times. No way around it, besides not attacking at all. (which I wouldn't recommend).

...I recommend you build your team AND then tackling the dungeon later. The team you brought is really lacking in some areas, especially since Liu Ishmael would enjoy have some people apply burn stacks with her. [The best FIRE EGO Gift is also active in this dungeon, so...] The counters will just tear you repeatedly until then.

ishmael will be invincible after the skill check so if you can survive turn 1 and give her 2 slots you can play around having her soak up the first 2 hits. personally i did this with mersault ego + sinking so she rolls only 0's but you dont have sinking. i really recommend nuking ahab asap as the counter skill activates more times based on her remaining shield, it would be a good time to overclock yi sangs dimension shredder (i think shes weak to pride/pierce too).

While it's usualy true, all liu IDs are weak to pierce, and you really don't want to bring more of that weakness in a dungeon where most bosses do pierce damage (and a few blunt)

i beat it pre nerf by using only molar ish, w sang (ut3) and w don (ut4) so that all three would have two slots and would damage/sanity ramp better, holding resources and then spamming sunshower and crow's eye view in phase 3 to debuff the boss' damage and increase my team's survivability

i had ish take all the hunter's marks because she's immortal as long as another sinner is alive, so she ate the brunt of the boss' offensive while the rest carefully triggered counters and broke their shields

all resist pierce, and don can heal herself with her base E.G.O, enjoy
